I pray that the real truth of our history as a people would be thought and share so that no one change our history and our identity God has given us which our Kings and our Queens and our mothers and fathers had transferred into our hands in our time. We must do our best in honor, in humility to preserve it because, the next generations are coming. May God bless our King, Otumfuo, may God bless all our sub-kings, our Queens and the Kingdom of Ashaneman. May our Kingdom's influence continues to grow and the Kingdom expansion to the glory of God. Live long Nana, live long Otumfuo live long Asanteman in Jesus name Amen and Amen 🙏

People should make it on a wall, a time will come and we the New Ashanteman Union are going to disown the treaty of 1874 and demand all our territories in today’s Ghana. Our lands along the coastline, western Ashanti, and the north. Because we are going to need this land to form our New Ashanteman Nation since Ghanaians don’t need us. And we are not the only Union who wants it own nation in Africa. Ashanteman is bigger than the Gambia

@Ohenebamedia, Your headline for this great interview does not do it justice. It, however, allows emotionally charged, feeble, non-critical thinking minded individuals to spew their nonsense without listening to the interview. My humble suggestion for the headline could be -- Why Some Bono Chiefs join Asanteman: An interview with Historian...
Another suggestion is to also break and post it into segments. For example, you can have a clip of the segment where he explains the 3 reasons why bono could not form a kingdom, and named as such. Breaking it up into segments helps to reach more audience. Thank you for a job well done.

Ghana is entering another face of culture challenge. What’s revelling can be dangerous and might go against Asanteman.
Ghana is a constitutional Republic not a monarchy. Otumfuo knows it. In Ghana it’s the parliament which decides and sees to the peace of our beloved Ghana. This peace is under threat. Kwame Nkrumah didn’t finish this Bono Asante issue, when he spilt the Bonos from Asante. And most of the governments haven’t really paid attention to it. While the world looks forward Asanteman is looking backwards to her past glory trying to start culture misunderstandings, interfering in BonoBonoEast affairs. Asantehene is craving for more power, which might turn to reduce it.
Nana Addo has promoted the Asantehene too much setting a very wrong precedent. Ghana is not a monarchy.!

Hmmmm after some of them later collide with Nkrumah to trick Ashanteman with the regional system. We resist of any agreement back to before of our independence and want back our western Ashanti and there’s no deference between such as Amansie, Manso,Atwima,Sekyere and the Bono. All this people speaks Twi with deference dialect of sound. So if they want to form a morden day Bono and state then they have to follow those who ran away to the Ivory Coast and join them to their dream state. A brief history of the Gyaaman Kingdom. It started as a small village by one of the migrants from the old Bono Kingdom in the 15th century at a place near another village called Yaa Kesse which is now in the Eastern part of Ivory Coast. The Kingdom produced some powerful kings who were very formidable. At its peak it occupied the area from Bontuku to Amp3krom in the Ivory Coast and from Sampa to Biaso in Ghana. Of course there were no Ghana or Ivory Coast at the time so this whole area was under one Gyaaman Kingdom. Its capital was called Amanfi, which was near Yaa Kesse now in the Ivory Coast. Some of its villages which are now in the Ivory Coast were Boadikrom, Kwasibenekrom, Apomprono, Yaak3sse, Takyikrom, Aniberekrom, Darkokrom, Gonokrom, Asuofri, Kotoku-Ayera, Kwamekissikrom, Bontuku and of course its capital Amanfi.
In Ghana, it occupied towns like Nkrankwanta, Diabaakrom, the whole of Wam land area including Amasu, Kwameasu, Kyeremasu, Akontanim, Wamfie, Wamanafuo and Wampamu which is now Dormaa Ahenkro all the way to the BIa River at Biaso, Kwatwoman, Adwinim, Japeikrom, Drobo,Nwereme which is now Suma Ahenkro, Sampa, Seikwa and eastward all the way to the Berekum area. So in essence, the whole western part of the new Bono Region in Ghana was part of the old Gyaaman Kingdom. Some of its famous chiefs were Abu Kofi, Kwadwo Agyemang and of course the most famous Kwadwo Adinkra whose name is now associated with the world famous Adinkra symbols.

@evang.augustineopokuampons7454, I am very much okay, but the same can not be said of you. You claim these stories, and I quote are "shit stories," yet you wasted your time to listen and comment....what does that make you? A nation that abandons its history is a nation that never advances to its full potential.

Why do u people always lie to promote Asante , u failed to tell your history of your defeat in Dodowa Kantamaso war u are always trying to lie to the world. Other lies was about , Okomfo Anokye hailing from Agona Asante , whereas we all know the man came from Awuku Gua Akwapim , he came to help Asante to fight the Denkyira people. So why u people changing the history ? Tell the history truthfully.
