I don't think Big Tom ever performed out here in Australia, but I was a fan since a visit to Ireland in 1983. A relation, who sang country here, heard some of his songs and told a friend on a local radio station and that led to Tom getting air time on a number of stations. If he'd ever have come out here, he'd have been as big as in Ireland. My relation passed away on June 6 and I hope he has since mat Tom up there. RIP Tom from all your fans in Oz, in particular Western Victoria.
