It's a bit sad for me because this is the last song of the last day of Freddie's vocal's finest hour. After this, he would never hit as many hight notes as he did in November 1979 ~ June 1982 in live.

Magic tour was fine, but yes, his live voice only went downhill from here. :(
Live Aid was good too, actually!
Don't know if that counts though cause it wasn't a queen concert and it wasn't part of a tour
@@GHENIC Its more like after this tour he lost his consitence and confidence hitting high notes, though leiden gigs and early works tour remains that prime era

Freddie’s voice was nearly perfect. CM this remaster is fantastic as always. I wish there had been more close-ups of the band. But, this is really wonderful. Thank you!!

If you're talking about the best performances of WATC, Live Aid is #1, and Detroit 77 is a far second.

@@davidv5595 its still a good performance. He gets the Bb4 at "Through" in the pre-chorus and two VERY powerful and clean A4s in 2 of the choruses, but his voice cracks a bit towards the end, which is hidden by the overdub. The first night show was better for some because he didn't crack towards the end and he hit the two Bb4s in the first and second verse and he also hit 2 A4s. I personally prefer the second night though cause for me the A4s sound better than the first night, and I generally don't care about the slight crack at the end. Objectively though, first night is better.
