    I'm an ultralight hiker and I also think this little drone is great! The low weight 125g is a real game changer compared to the 750g mini4pro with a controller. I also think the manual mode is cool for creating cinematic videos or pictures.
    My wishes!?
    Better camera with 4k quality and RAW recording
    More range in manual mode 50m height and Range would be great! (currently 15m height and 30m range)

    Great video, very helpful. They do have a new hard case that just fits the drone itself.

    Super nice Review! I'm impressed how well the drone kept up with you, for my more relaxed travel cycling it would be awesome!

    Very nice review with some fantastic shots! Man I miss mountain biking, have a Trek and a GT. Just can't bike anymore because of my back injury.

    Great review about the weaknesses of this drone. I own it and like it a lot. My use case is really just for fun shots of me and my wife on vacation, taking walks, at beautiful vistas and places etc. I love it!

      Thank you! Yes, it's perfect for walks. But I want it to be perfect for MTB riding too. :)

      Then proceed to post every picture and video of themselves on TikTok.

    Thanks for this video. I was curious for how it would perform as an action sports follow cam. Hopefully the 2nd generation has a better camera, and can fly faster (I want it to keep up to me snowboarding). The sports mode you mentioned would make a lot of sense as well. Hopefully the company listens to your (and other action sports people's) feedback.

    • @OutdoorsMedia
      @OutdoorsMedia  Před 3 měsíci

      Biking in the woods isn't that fast so I only need it to go a bit faster. Skiing and snowboarding is much faster so I guess the 2nd gen would need a lot more power to be able to keep upl. This is a great proof of concept, though!
      Thank you for your comment!

    Great video do you think the Hover would follow 2 bikes together

    • @OutdoorsMedia
      @OutdoorsMedia  Před 3 měsíci

      Haven't tried that. It might get confused. But 2 bikes following each other would probably work.

    hi, Can we attach Go pro on top of this drone? can this drone hold go pro weight?

    • @OutdoorsMedia
      @OutdoorsMedia  Před měsícem +1

      Most likely no. The drone is tiny and weighs less than a GoPro.

  • @FancySassy80
    @FancySassy80 Před 3 měsíci +1

    You would think being a selfie drone it would have obstacle avoidance

    • @OutdoorsMedia
      @OutdoorsMedia  Před 3 měsíci

      Yes, but at the same time it's a very small drone. A forward facing sensor would be great though to avoid all of these head-on collisions.

    How do I see my footage? I just got one but can’t figure this out. Ty

    • @OutdoorsMedia
      @OutdoorsMedia  Před 3 měsíci +1

      In the app, connect to your Hover and you should find the footage there somewhere. Select a few clips and then select download to get them to your phone. It’s pretty straightforward.

      The obvious option. Better in every way probably, but doesn’t fit in a pocket.

    I wonder if anyone's tried sticking the gopro on top of the drone !

    • @OutdoorsMedia
      @OutdoorsMedia  Před měsícem

      The drone is too small to carry any payload. It only weighs 125 g and a GoPro weighs over 150 g to put things in perspective.

    Yet another endless iteration of aging old technology. Nothing new to see here

    • @OutdoorsMedia
      @OutdoorsMedia  Před 2 měsíci +4

      Strongly disagree. There was nothing like this on the market until the Hover X1 was launched. Agree that the camera sensor is a bit old, though.

    • @macbugde
      @macbugde Před 2 měsíci +1

      Iteration of something old is not new? Uh? I think that’s definition of advancements. This thing is pretty amazing.

  • @tomg224

    works only if you are really slow on the bike :/ there is no drone good enough to follow mtb rider going fast other then fpv and pilot :D

    • @OutdoorsMedia
      @OutdoorsMedia  Před 2 měsíci

      Yes, speed is an issue when you want to look fast. Let’s hope for a faster gen 2 Hover.

    • @tomg224
      @tomg224 Před 2 měsíci

      @BAMCreator even gen 100 of this thing won't work .. you will be better of with 360 cam on a stick behind you .. all those drones are pure waste of money
