I've been riding the 72L version at 90kgs for the last year. It's been a fantastic board and the construction has been insanely tough, allowing for worry-free jumping. The step tail is no gimmick and the board releases really early; there's a small adjustment forward you need to make when restarting due to the nose-biased volume distribution. It's a little heavier than average to be fair but the peace of mind is worth it. It's a beautiful looking board as a bonus! Armstrong and Lift riders will likely want to run the mast fully forward in the tracks. Great review!

I haven't tried the wing board yet, but the KT Dragonfly is really really good.
I’ve owned one of these in the 120 litre model since it came out
Initially I struggled with the balance and stability of the unique shape
However I can honestly say this is the best board by far I’ve ridden it’s so snappy and launches off the water so fast , it’s so responsive and manoeuvrable love ❤️ it to bits

I would love to know what the step is doing when foiling other than making the effective mast length shorter. Would a board with the step fly the same as an identical board without the step but a slightly shorter mast...
A lot of drag comes from the mast plate during take off, the step bottom allows to reduce this drag to release better. That's the bigger advantage to this design in our opinion.

Are all the pulp boards you posted in your video your own brand?
KT board looks very good, but why is a board so important? Is it not the foil that you are riding
It gets you on foil easier, handles touch downs without grabbing or changing direction… all in the video
