On the movie set for The Conjuring, the girl that played Christine, Joey King, developed a blood thinning condition while filming and it randomly disappeared when they wrapped up the film. Seeing her tell this experience is almost unbelievable.
The # of likes though 😮👀👀
That could be due to stress though, from working on a movie at a young age.
She was my favorite family member in the movie such a good actress! Hope she has a bright future
That’s not too weird tho, there’s so many ways u can accidentally get a blood thinning condition, even just a viral infection
I tried to write a ghost story once, and got really into it, but I stopped when weird stuff started happening in real life. Now I believe that creating paranormal entertainment can lead to real things happening, lol
You should of finished it screw the ghosts that tried to stop you
What kind of things started to happen ?
That’s because spooky stuff attracts spookers. If you engage in anything spooky, chances are you gonna attract evil spirits.

I wish the summer would go on and end so we can move on into fall
Debatable, but he’s dope
"Late" summer? There's still like a month and a half.
A couple more examples of curses on movie sets:
Several actors in the movie Poltergeist died or were murdered shortly after filming.
The Exorcist had an air conditioner malfunction in the bedroom scene and plunge the set to -40 degrees, and the mom was actually permanently hurt when she hit the wall
Rosemary’s baby had medical emergencies on set and the director’s wife, Sharon Tate, was murdered by the Manson family during filming
A bird flew into a circuit box and started a fire that left only the room they filmed the exorcism in untouched.
@@ExcaliburForge I didn’t know that, that’s pretty creepy!
I seriously think poltergeist was just coincidence, because the majority of actors are still alive
@@Miller-jh2bg no they aren't
Ok so this is freaking me out I was planning on watching exorcist but thank God I didn't watch it cuz I heard the movie is scary as hell.
Alright. MOST of these examples can be explained away by coincidence combined with mass paranoia by people whose literal job is to basically have one foot in a fictional reality. But I don't think any amount of coincidence can explain all the stuff with the Omen production. That's the kind of story that would give even the most hardcore skeptic pause.
Still a skeptic

There's literally hundreds of horror story channels on CZcams... but Mr. Nightmare's videos just hit different. It's the middle of the day and I'm terrified.
I don’t know if The Crow (1994) counts as a horror film, but what happened to Brandon Lee was absolutely heartbreaking.

@Cipactonal decapitated?? I thought he was shot by the prop gun??

I'm surprised "Poltergeist" wasn't in the list. People thought those movies were cursed, deaths happened in all 3 "Poltergeist" movies including Heather O'Rourke (Carol-Ann) in the last one. 😢
It may be included in a future part 2.
sounds like that could be its own video
And the fact they used real skeletons in the pit scene and didn't tell the actors
It was much cheaper at the time. Why go over budget when you can get cadavers that are usually sold to colleges?
Prop skeletons also didn’t look the best back then.
@@AFarmerCalledChicken They didn’t tell the actors which is pretty sketchy if you ask me but they didn’t tell them because otherwise if they did they never would have jumped in the pit with them
Also for the Omen, the Cathedral they used in the film was plagued by issues in building and repairs. The angel on top is called the angel of death by the old locals because most of the people who went to repair it/amend it died
Melissa George who plays Kathy Lutz in the 2005 Amityville movie, documents her paranormal experiences while filming on the show Celebrity Ghost Stories Season 3, episode 8. The crazy part about it is that they were in a ‘mock’ house that resembled the original Amityville house but still had scary experiences that reflected what actually happened in the original house. Her story was terrifying! She thought she was going to die just trying to finish filming the movie.
Vic Morrow and the 2 children’s deaths are so heartbreaking.

I’ve heard stories about The Omen - specifically about the lightning strikes. The movie had already seemed very eerie and unsettling, but the stories surrounding the film production makes it even more unsettling.
Even the damn name of the movie, and how there was a sign that said "omenn 66.6m" right before the crash. This is why i believe curses are real and karma
OMG! I can't believe ..

We have a city called Ommen in the Netherlands. But I doubt that a road sign has 66,6 on it
Yeah it would just have a nice round number like 65 Km on it, not some odd number like 66, much less going into decimal places...
I heard Richard Donner speak about some of the creepy things. Lightening hitting planes, Two months before filming Greg Pecks son commited suicide, car accidents, IRA bombing, weird stuff with animals reacting aggressive 👻
Took a Cinematography class a few years back for the fun of it and was assigned to do a short film project. Decided to make a POV documented horror film with a few friends of mine. That same night after everything was finished, I couldn't get absolutely no sleep and felt as if someone or something was staring at me in the dark throughout the entire night.
That was 99,9% probably just in your head because you just made that horror movie project!!! Ever heard of imagination in your subconsciousness?

Another interesting thing that happened for The Conjuring. During the film's editing and post production process, editor Kirk Morri and director James Wan experienced several unexplainable things, most notably were lights flickering or outright dying out during editing.
"digital claw marks" 😂
Don't forget the original Poltergeist movie. (1982) Dominique Dunne (Dana), who played the eldest sister ended up being murdered by her boyfriend . And the lead child actor Heather O'Rourke (Carol Ann) died during the filming of one of the sequels. There were other deaths as well, but I always remember these two as being the most shocking.

How can you leave out the 1982 version of The Poltergeist??? They even call it the "Poltergeist Curse" because of all the crazy/bad things that have happened. That movie set had much worse things happen then pants falling off a hangar lol.
Maybe he was hesitant to cover it and possibly become cursed as well?
Maybe bcs part 2 is coming eventually ?
*hanger
Some of the real horror with the Twilight Zone Movie, save for the horrific loss of life of three people, was the working conditions surrounding the helicopter sequence. The child actors were working late at night, when according to child labor laws they should not have been, and there's the parents also being lied to, who were also on set when the accident happened and watched it happen. The walkie-talkies Landis and the helicopter pilot used were busted, and Landis said they didn't need to be fixed. There's also the fact the helicopter pilot was not a stunt pilot, with Landis thinking that the man's real-life helicopter piloting experience was good enough. The whole thing could have been prevented were it not for John Landis' horrid negligence, and it's worth going out and reading all about what occurred. Truly saddening and upsetting.
Heartbreaking. Many, many dark stories behind the Hollywood big screen
I think the director is some sick fuck who knew what he was doing

It’s quite interesting and suprising to see some horrific things that have been conducted during movie sets as mainly it were to be due to dark entities surrounding the set or actors who have gone insane into believing that an entity is there
Have you watched the movie The Wailing ? I heard some stuff went on at that set too.
@@tiffanyoates9856 what happened in the set?

Great stuff Mr. Nightmare! Keep em coming! :)
As much as I love the movie, the way Stanley Kubrick treated Shelley duvall as an actress in the filming of the shining was pretty horrific 😞 always look forward to your videos hehe
Yeah Stanley Kubrick was a bully to actress Shelley Duvall, not because he hated her, but he was trying to bring a much better performance out of her. But this that’s no excuse; the end does not justify the means. Kubrick really affected her emotion, parts of her hair turned grey and fell off

This just made horror movies a whole lot more horrifying.
My mom worked on the Edwards Airforce Base when the Twilight Zone incident happened. She said since the early morning, everyone kept talking about the incident throughout the day and she remembered the details of what happened.
So sad!
The 3:15 thing is soo weird. I remember after watching Amityville I used to wake up at 3:15 every night for weeks. I often wondered if it was a mental timer in my brain. Seeing it in the show and my brain mimicking the situation. It was pretty strange.
It's just ur brain tricking you
Very interesting!! I always wonder how the brain knows its 3:15 am tho!?
But mine is worse, i woke up at 3:15 PM arghh! What a long sleep
@@noneisallminussome371probably looked at a clock
I believe you had it right when you said that your mind mimicking the hour 3:15 from watching the movie... Especially because you knew it was a true events based movie. I always have things like that happen to me when I know the movie I just watched was based on true events... For example, after I watched the movie TITANIC I would wake up while crying at the exact hour the Titanic sunk for weeks...
Haven't watched you in years and I'm honestly glad you're still doing awesome
Just in time to get me in the mood for spooky season!!

Yo that's crazy. Holy crap. Good job on this!!!
I won't believe everything you hear on horror movie sets back in 2010 I worked as a runner on a low budget horror that never got released but the director did do some interviews for it. It was filmed in an abandoned hospital and in the interview the director said there were a lot of spooky things going on things moving on their own and ghost sightings all that kind of stuff. Nothing at all spooky happened there.
OMG! I can't believe ..

@@nirvanasingh2 haha no not all it was very low budget.
also, I don't know about the US, but I don't think I've ever seen a road sign show a distance in anything other than whole numbers, so the 'Omenn 66.6km' bit doesn't sit right with me.
I'm happy to admit that I'm wrong, if indeed there are road signs with decimal places. No doubt someone will let me know :D
@やった😎 no one you would know it was a very low budget movie. I think the most famous person there was a guy from Hollyoaks (a British soap) and the director was a make-up artist called Belinda Greensmith this was her first movie. It was called For One Night Only. It's on IMDB even though I wasn't credited which pissed me off at the time lol
I haven’t watched mr. Nightmare in like 3 years , I’m happy to be back 😊
That Director Landin found a clever way of avoiding accountability for recklessly killing two children and that actor, because he tricked the jury into believing they may be cast in a movie. He also received awards for the movie the Twilight Zone, in spite of the deaths on the set, he made money on the film all the same.
excited for this one! more horror movie set stories!
You should do a video about Ed and Lorraine Warren

The "3:15" connection with Amityville tends to discredit the supernatural claims. That wasn't "the time of the murders". That couldn't be precisely determined. One of the DeFeo's neighbors said she heard their dog barking at *approximately* 3:15, and that's where the whole thing started.
Highly recommend looking into the Amytville story because it is way more interesting than what we are led to believe. From what I've heard, Robert DeFeo's immediate younger sister was the one who actually shot the family (gunpowder was found all over her garments, and it was determined that at least two people had done the killings). Robert Defeo was upset with this because they both had planned to only murder the parents (the dad was abusive and had ties to the mafia, the mom was guily by association I guess). When everything went down and the police got involved, Robert DeFeo's lawyer told him to claim that he was hearing voices (Robert had originally claimed that the mafia were guilty of the crime, but I guess they or someone had claimed that the mafia doesn't kill kids). DeFeo went along with it, and from there a whole story started. The Lawyer had made a deal with the family that was moving in (the ones portrayed in the Amytville movies), and told them to act as though the house was haunted. The lawyer assured them that they would receive a lot of many from publicity of which they did. It fed into the possibility that Defeo's "voices" could be real, and they may be tied to the "hauntings" of the home. Despite its wave of interest, Robert DeFeo was still found guilty. However, the story was still thriving in the media and eventually began to gather a cult following. So what we see today in the movies is possibly nothing more than a fib a lawyer had told in order to save his client.
Mind you, this was all according to the Ronald DeFeo (and possibly other sources).
I'll drop the documentary as soon as I find it.
Wrong
@@500sensationalsalads5 source?
@@asliceofcheese9989 He made it the fuck up
Not to mention the whole thing was a hoax. Every little section in the book involving "Father Mancuso" is 100% invented (this represents about half of the thing). DeFeo's lawyer sued the Lutz family, claiming that they had made it up together (I wouldn't take him at his word, though, the man is probably the worst scumfuck to ever live on our planet; he decided to become famous instead of actually defending his client). When the actual priest testified, he confirmed that every detail told about him was fabricated, outside of having been in the house one time - no supernatural force drove him out, it was a normal day. And Danny, one of the kids, has come out and confirmed it was all made up by his parents. Plus, the insurance photos of the heavy storm door that the demon ripped off its hinges, that was just a flimsy little door that a tiny gust of wind could have knocked down. Each piece of evidence might be explained away (the priest was lying because of pressure from the church, Danny is repressing the trauma of truly supernatural incidents, the Lutz family just wanted to add a little extra drama, etc.), but one would have be extremely naïve to put all the evidence together and insist the Amityville horror was a true story. A person can believe whatever they want about ghosts and demons in general, but this one was a confirmed hoax.
This whole video literally gave me goosebumps. Especially that last story. Now I’m about to find these movies so I can rewatch them.

I heard somewhere that when you recreate scary situations in real life ghosts or demons can come because they don't know that its a movie or story. They just know something is happening and its like an invitation for them lol
16 years ago when my friend and I were 15 years old we saw a near full apparition of a woman that came out of her hallway while we watched TV.
You know that feeling you have when you can sense somebody's presence? Like if you're listening to music and somebody is standing just barely out of your vision and you can just "feel" them??
We both felt that feeling while watching tv and simultaneously as I turned my head I saw my friend Hannah's head turn and we saw the figure and we we screamed in fright and the figure literally left as sudden as it appeared but it scurried away.... it did not vanish.... it was not transparent.. no identifying features except hair and a dress... but it was floating 10 inches offf the wood floor and we jumped off the couch in fright and ran out her front door my friend called her dad on her T-Mobile Sidekick and I can only imagine his confusion now with two 15yo girls crying and talking about a ghost lady . ugh but i'm so grateful we both witnessed it together.
I never thought about that stuff before as a teenage girl but i haven't stopped thinking about it since and I am now a 31 year old woman. Times has flown but that moment stays still. I cannot explain it but i have hivves all over my body as I type this and reflect back.

I saw this video in my recommended and i guess the title alone triggered some emotions. I am hoping maybe other individuals who have experienced something paranormal will see this comment and share their own!
As I've matured, I have grown to be more fascinated by it than scared but often I do find my brain drifting away and asking myself questions that keep me up like who she was and what year she had passed etc etc.
I've never been to church and I've never considered myself religious at all but the experience certainly opened my mind to life and death.
Thank you for being kind. - _Krissy_
When I was 10 years old, while changing clothes (I just got back from school) I saw my sister's dopple ganger inside our room. It looked so real and alive that I called out to it but it ignored me. A few seconds after, my real sister came inside the room but by then the apparition already disappeared. Thats the one and only supernatural experience I had where I saw something w/ my own eyes.
I have experienced hearing footsteps, hearing voices, and seeing shadowy figures. The only reason I believed that I experienced this is because I'm not the only one who had experiences in that house and a son murdered his father there so maybe it was bad energy. I just know what I experienced.
