THE LIVITY OF RASTAFARI

  • If a man is walking down the street with a bible in hand, you wouldn't say: here goes a Christian. If a Japanese man passed by you, neither would you say: good morning Budda. And if an Arab looking man with a full face of beard approaches, you wouldn't say here comes Mohammed. So why it is that every dread-lock sporting person is deemed as Rastafari. Do we truly understand, or as the rasta would say overstand what it truly means to be Ras Tafari. With modernization, has come the revision of Jah Laws for the convenience of man; with a mixture of fashion and fakes intermingled among 12 tribes. With Bobo and Nyabingi, who is truly reflective of the authentic livity of Rastafari?

    I long to live in the hills and away from this Babylonian society, a society that is filled with violence, illusions, and corruption. I have gotten away from the TV, the bars, sports, etc., but to truly get away from it, one has to go to the hills or in the woods. That's where there will be pureness - one will be more attuned to nature. I experience that when I go canoeing in the swamps or wilderness. Even though I'm out there for one day, it feels so good to my mind, body and soul, just being away from the pollution of society. I can only imagine how it would be living in such an environment all the time - got to be like heaven. The people interviewed in this video are truly blessed and free. Who can truly find fault with that? One Love

    What a beautiful truth! The children are beautiful, smart and WELL behaved. For any person who negatively judges the parents in this document for home schooling their children, please ask yourself if you have ever seen another family with 13 children who are this poised, intelligent, forward thinking and exude peace? This is the true meaning of Rastafari!

    It is very, very sad that one nation can impose wickedness on others, who are still expected to forgive, and to forget, without receiving even a word of apology from their enslavers, for the wrong done. Some of us might be willing to forgive, but not all of us are willing to forget. For some of us the hurt will never go away, until the subject of reparation is addressed and satisfactorily dealt with.

Back then I was sure I was ahead and these people were behind, today I'm wiser, older, more experienced and can say with certainty that they are ahead and I behind. It's obvious, so obvious. This is living, this is life, this is Paradise. Look at their faces, their pride, their confidence, their beauty in and out. It's magnificent! I will save and come learn from you Martyrs family. PS: Don't be in such a hurry to come to Africa just yet, I am here and we need some time still. By using words such as extreme, and questioning the fathers intentions trying to infer the parents were living their lifestyle to benefit themselves and not the children. I explained just because him and his family want to live as close to Biblical times as possible doesn't make his decision extreme or wrong. Mind you this man practices the Jewish Religion. He seems to be oblivious that Non-European people were massacred in greater numbers than the Jews for their religious beliefs. SHAME!

    African people have long been living in harmony with nature, the treat nature with respect and understand that life revolved around mother nature, and the understand raising a family. The African are the most spiritual people, you can see that in kemetic civilization, how life, teaching is base from one self. The African way of life was cut short by foreign invaders, but is part of destiny, and it happen for reasons. It make us to understand the mind of white man. But the darkest days a coming towards the west because life is a circle, your time will come and your time will go. As these Kids said about Africa, Africa is the future of Humanity, because the authentic still exist in the continent. The Tribe like Masai, Karamojond, San, Himba, Fulani, Toubu to mention fews they still keep authentic life moving by living with nature in harmony and treat with respect not like how other abuse it.

      I don't think they actually could ever abuse mother nature but please don't get it twisted they try to examine her to see if they can better her or help her which is wrong in itself but I just don't know plus never forget when the earth was formed it was just one big land mass then everything started breaking off of the main mass to form earth today I mean who really knows if Africa really is the motherland for all humanity as it's just not possible to get the 4 main earth inhabitants out of one mass ie black white indian chinese oh and arab looking olive dark skinned people as none of them have the same DNA nor blood nor facial features etc etc etc so how can a few white archaeological scientists say this ? etc anyway like I've said in other statements I think because the white race would stop at nothing to rape pillage plunder and kill well I think they found something in the process of doing this crime against humanity they either found a tomb or pyramid or buried city or library or scrolls etc etc which did in fact have our earths history and where we all really came frim but instead of sharing they've kept it and used it to control and cause evil for their own benefits but times change and cycles turn oppressors burn and the meek and righteous always get their turn so I know my kids kids kids kids kids will be good definitely.

They would be happy to stay right where they are in the hills

    It is always interesting to hear and see documentaries about Rastafari; only to note that they are always told by people who are non-Rasta. Majority of the documentaries on Rastafari brethrens and sistrens are from the white European perspective. And, I notice that they always include common footage from regurgitated sources.

    So what if he is still living with his parents as a grown man! I am a grown woman and stayed with my mother as an adult because houses do not just fall out the sky and land in your lap once you hit 18 years old! And people don't just land a job making so much money a year when they hit 18 years old, unless you had a will passed down to you. Furthermore, there is no rush for him to get married especially considering how corrupt and tainted people have become due to being socialized by society / media. He is lucky to have a beautiful strong family so spiritually centered. Also, I would rather stay with my mother than deal with some roommate. I have my own place now but only after years of studying in college.

    I carefully watched the whole video. I don't want to get into the religion of Ras Teferi this and that. But I like to advise this beautiful family to keep living the paradise they have created and locating right now. Intermarry among your Rasta neighbors and married the children off and multiply. They need to drop the idea of going to Africa or Ethiopia to that matter. The culture they are fostering right now is perfect where they at. Africa would just break their heart. Try to get education in way of world business, medicine, law, military, engineering and some methods of agriculture that is suitable for their location; they could mix that up with their own culture. As long as they have their feet are firm on the foundation of their culture, none of the 'babylon' influence can pester the belief or culture they hold dearly. Good luck or as an Ethiopian would say መልካም እድል::

    • @jacob777jacob
      @jacob777jacob Před 7 lety +2

      Jenny C James So? How is that a problem when people where their dreads for fashion? Hair is fashion itself, its art. It's expression. In Africa, many tribes actually style their hair for fashion as well. They add pieces of the earth, clay, color etc. Are you going to call them idiots too?
      Everyone has a different reason why they style their hair, be it dreads or Bantu knots. It's still natty, cultural expression of being.
      You calling people idiots because they don't have the same reason as Rastafarians, like Rastas are the go to people to know what natty hair expresses.
      Rastas are just one out of hundreds of cultures that have their own reason to lock their hair. Nothing more.
