    The new belt has 51 steps between the crankshaft pinion and the fuel pump, the one I had installed only had 44 steps. Have you been well matched by the brands on the belt that you put on with respect to what your car had installed?
    In my case, the marks on the strap do not match what I had installed.

    • @FixYOURride13

      Hi, I never counted T-belt like you, I see two type of belt 1.5 k9 engine 119 tooth or 123 tooth, depend of fuel pump wheel size.

    • @2ruedaslibres909
      @2ruedaslibres909 Před 3 lety +1

      @@FixYOURride13 The problem is that according to the workshop book from the crankshaft pinion to the pump pulley there are 51 spaces and before disassembling I made marks and the workshop book does not correspond to the assembly of my car, in my case there were 44 spaces .
      The belt is 119 teeth.
      My k9k 608 has a small fuel pump pulley but both the one with a small fuel pulley and those with a slightly larger type use 119 teeth, in the workshop book they only contemplate the latter with a slightly larger pulley.

      @paulnutter7675 Před 2 lety

      @@2ruedaslibres909 I have the same problem, I also have the small fuel pump wheel and 51 spaces is not correct. I froze this video and counted the number of teeth spaces between the fuel pump and crankshaft marks and it was 44.

    • @2ruedaslibres909
      @2ruedaslibres909 Před 2 lety

      @@paulnutter7675 Before removing the timing belt, I made marks on it as well as nailing the crankshaft and the camshaft. I simply made the same marks on the new belt, counting the teeth as the original belt of the car, after installing it in that way everything was set correctly. After 15,000 km everything perfect.

    I have a 17 Qashqai 2liter J11 petrol and I don’t have any plastic cover where Timing ........ is. There is only metal cover, would that be timing chain?
