How to wire a vw motor to hot run test

Safety first: When working with eletricity be sure to follow all precautions.
When using gasoline have a fire extinguisher near by. In case of fire.
Starting and running a motor in a well ventilated area to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning
You are responsible to follow any and all precautions.
Set your motor up to run on your chassis.
3 wire start harness
Power wire 10 gauge wire x 8 feet or more. Hook to terminal #30
Start wire 12 gauge wire x 8 feet or more. Hook to terminal #50
Coil power wire 14 gauge wire x 8 feet or more. Hook to terminal # 15/54
Use aproprate wire connectors for aplicable terminals.
Hook wires to a vw ignition switch and then the starter . Review wiring diagram in any vw Manuel for reference.
Now hook up battery terminals. Positive then negative.
Fill carburator with gasoline.
Test ignition to see if the motor turns over.
