What is the show called
Where can we watch this
His hair and beard grew fast in a couple of weeks.
She was the best character in the show. It sadden me to see her gone
What happened to her
@SofieZhang-ki2xj she died because Nolan pissed off some dude's entitle gf. He had a hit on his head, and she decided to be his patrol partner. She got shot as a result of saving Nolan
Oh ok
Here is the Season and Episode
Season 1, Episode 16, "Greenlight."
What show is this?
Never assume anything about anyone until you know their full story. Never give up and never give in because every life matters from the great to the small.
Ok but prison is fucked. Like you lose your sense of self, depending on how long you're in there. Stepdad of mine served three years in prison and he said it was so bad if ever even just had to go to court for someone he'd risk jail for he'd kill himself on the spot. Something as simple as three years changes people, I'm pretty sure the guy in the clip did a lot longer than that so his mind was prolly fucked up.
@@darkalexander9158at the same time, shouldn't jail be a deterrent? Like if it's not fun going there you make sure you don't go back.
@@vcarriere That's the problem is it made him hate life but only made him smarter about what he did. So far through my life I've been around a multitude of people who have gone to jail and only one of them actually stopped from it lol. Though that's just my experiences, I do wish we could efficiently deter people from crime with jail tho.
@@vcarriereTo be fair, a deterrent shouldn't lead to one harming themselves, or leaving worse that they end up harming other's, prisons should also focus on rehabilitation and still treat people like people. When they use only pure punishment and treat inmates like monsters, the sad reality is that those people will then act like monsters when released, then it just turns into a unfortunate cycle repeating itself.
@@silentshadows2963 I agree with you that people that can be rehabilitated should be offered the chance to be incarcerated like in Sweden. But if you're a repeat offender or have killed someone, you shouldn't be afforded the luxury of being treated like a decent human being.
They treated this character with no respect by killing her . Worst decision the series made
Nah. Killing off a character is only impactful if you make a great character.
Death, as a narrative tool, can be used to push forward a character's message long after they're gone. I haven't watched the Rookie so I can't say how well this idea mayve been executed but she seemed to have some good development as well as backstory based on what was portrayed by the short.
As long as what she stood for in the show isn't lost, then I feel like her death regardless of how it happened could be justified for the sake of the narrative in one way or another.
What dah show called again us it 911 or rookie
@@josoapaproductsthey actually did this exact thing, her death made several people want revenge but they did the arrests by the book because it’s what she would’ve wanted
Rookie@@HoneydewmooVT
its a nice detail that the glock dosent have a safety
She knew that, perp had to check
@@mattschwartz7583he’s saying it was a good detail by the show
@@MachewShelb yea but that's why they put it in there
No, it doesn't have an EXTERNAL safety
@@ashsnowfrost2092It doesn’t have A SAFETY, it has a mode so the trigger is harder to pull
She was a great person
The fact she didn’t even survive the first season was a major disappointment and to think they never actually replaced her character, save for a one off episode with a new captain who is never seen again, it is just Gray that is in charge now with no mention of a captain nor Lieutenant in several seasons.
Yeah it’s really weird that there wasn’t a replacement captain
There was one though. He just sucked.
@@jennyblue42
I mentioned him but he was there for one episode then left and it’s been Gray in charge ever since which not complaining good character but shouldn’t their be a captain or lieutenant there the show started off with one.
You really see that “institutionalized” mindset best in Shawshank Redemption. A criminal spending so much time in prison 24/7/365 gets adjusted and you feel like becoming normal again is worse, you’re willing to kill or harm just to ensure you’re sentence is intact
My dad worked at a pen And he would see repeat offender in the 70/80s because they couldn't make it outside and their families made more money if he was inside than if he was outside working 😢. Some of the guys were actually very nice. Non violent. Of course he had horrible people to deal with as well. Damer was there for a couple of weeks.
EVERYONE has a life story, no one gets out without scars...They're just invisible.
I heard a quote once, I don't know where "Every battle leaves scars, some you can't see"
They made her the absolute best character in the first season and the killed her off… I was so fn surprised at that. Made her an absolute badass
Her charging a live weapon is a…well it’s not a terrible decision given that he wasn’t giving an opening in the conversation to de escalate, but it’s certainly questionable, because as long as he doesn’t take his finger off the trigger, that could accidentally go off.
I wish Anderson was around longer. She didnt deserve to go so quickly
What an amazing character story! I can't wait to see her in the show for a long time!
...
she was killed in S1 ep 16 cause Nolan pissed off some gang members girl
She really pulled out the Solid Snake "your safety is on rookie"
life and death version of “hey, your shoes are untied”
Show name is the rookie
It is
Almost like the uploader put it in the description
@@pathicks4133 no one reads the description...
I honestly miss her on this show
"you got your safety on"
Gaston did not intend this shit bro 💀💀💀
How does this video have more likes than views
Lmao 😂 my guess is that maybe views is the amount of people who watched the whole video and some people who liked it probably didn't watch the whole thing. Just a guess. I might be wrong tho lol
Bots maybe.🤔
Shorts views don't count unless you watch the whole thing, most people mindlessly scroll through shorts and just like random things before scrolling to the next video
I miss her so much. She was amazing.
In reality that conversation probably goes more like
“Well your safety is-“
*Boom*
Now that I’ve watched this exact episode, seeing all the cuts is craxy
I love her character
Safety? It's a glock
He’s been in jail for a good 30 years THERES a big chance he never used a Glock before and that’s y the dude checked
She lied to get uim to check it
@@shawnna1398glocks are old af he probably knows what a glock is
"It's a glock."
Well no shit
Glock having no safety and her doing that bait is hilarious
I still miss Captain Anderson. Dang it all.
The CZcamsr: I should make a video about the rookie
The video: 5,664 different cuts
Just prank dudes by telling them their safety is on while they hold a glock😂
Jschlatt crazin bro
Man i need to see the “your safety’s on” trick actually work IRL before i believe that it works as well as it does.
She gaslighted the shooter 💀
She was a good captain. She shouldn't have been killed off.
Now she looks like the live action zuko
"i was a marine corps"
That is textbook not talking care of herself but it's also textbook bravery
Your safety is on is just the gun equivalent of your shoelaces is untied
What episode is this
I can't remember but it's the first season
You were a marine, a cop, and you still couldn't dodge a hit that could be seen 10 miles away??
Love how she verified he’s never used a gun before in a crime before using his lack of knowledge against him 😂
i could’ve sworn they were the same person in the beginning
She took that hit like a champ, or he just weak asf lmao
"There is no safety" well he didnt know, Was obviously escelating it, and chances were he wouldnt try to fire without first switching the safety even if he wasnt distracted.
"What? The people we put in torture/slave pits for money arent super well adjusted when they get let out? Surely this must be *their* fault somehow!"
I remember when not being a coward was step 1 of being a basic cop, not the golden idol trait
Took punch and didnt fall damn
Took that slap like a man lowkey
I was about for a split second just burst out saying “THE GLOCK DOESNT HAVE A EXTERNAL SAFETY” but then they said it but then I remember , the Glock has three safeties, one is external but in the trigger as a second looking trigger.
Season 1, Episode 16, "Greenlight." of the Rookie
These scenes are from earlier in the season (Ep 10, "Flesh and Blood"), not from Greenlight..
@@JangosAgony502 OK, I was thinking it was about when the Captain got herself killed.
@@55Quirll Captain Andersen would have been riding with Nolan if this was Greenlight
@@JangosAgony502 Agreed, I was telling someone else the episode when she died, sorry for the misunderstanding
The show is called "The Cookie"
Now you made me want cookies 😂
theres like three women in this show that all look the same
Glocks don't have a safety switch
Bruh im so far in i forgot about her
She is better mentor than Tim.
Glocks have external safeties
I swear every time I see that guy he's a criminal in a police show
SEE Marvel? Thats how yo do a strong female character
Hollywood*
Unless the cops patrolled with firearms in cond 1, it still wouldn't fire off.
I saw it was a glock and was hoping and waiting for that to be mentained, and it was
CID is army...
And then she died…
Can't put the captain rank on correctly
Shall I come in and help out with that or more importantly to help with the cleaning up of owow
Killing her character made zero sense.
No one talking about the fact she charged a suspect with a live weapon finger on the trigger who had a hostage thats kinda a little actually really dumb
She tricked him by saying his safety was on which he dumbfoundingly checks even though the gun has no safety. You can rush someone with a gun very very fast even faster with proper training. That one window she made she took and it kept her and that civilian alive. It was not dumb she played her cards right and laid out bait which he took
@beatrizpereira60 even then it raises the risk of the dude firing the gun off anyways
@@Vinixty78risk vs reward. Without a swat sniper team what is she meant to do? The hostage taker was getting more irate and prone to shooting her.
@@Vinixty78 sometimes you have to make a risky call. Nothing is ever gonna be a guarantee that you'll do it right. And with precious seconds you need to act fast
@@beatrizpereira60 but the police should idk maybe not put the public in danger on a risky bet
Female empowered,
Funny thing is it's rare for woman to see action when they are in the military
God this show actively pisses me off
I don’t remember this episode
I have an odd feeling that this is one girl from tiktok that I watched and left
Wow...super women. Thank god.
Pity they killed off the character, she added another layer to the show.
Ya ok
They for once show some bit of gun knowledge. This show is typically atrocious with its gun handling and knowledge.
Early commenter this is a good show btw
😮😮😢😂😂😂
Yaaassssss queeen more Gurl Bosses!!!!
Who doesn't love constant feminist power fantasies?! Right?!
Glocks don't have a safety
That's the point, the criminal didn't know that

And Now shes Well kinda dead

Whaat kind of fictional show is this 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Who writes this shit?
Whoopee, Marine Corps, means nothing.
To you no. To LAPD, goes a long way.
Bullsticnk you wpuld og ducked to
This show is BEYOND cringe
This show is gayer than ru Paul’s drag race 😂
Only from this short I puked a bit.
👾
This show is toxic
NAAAA, bro rookie is so unrealistic, she said "your safetys on" brother the glock dont got a physical safety like 1911's or ar15 platforms do😂
Tell me you lick windows without telling me. That literally gets pointed out in the show. She knew it didn’t have a safety, she said that to trick the guy. Also it’s a feckin tv show not a documentary. It doesn’t have to be realistic.
That's the point. She was distracting him. That's why they commented that she charged a live weapon that could have killed her.
This show sucks
They paint it like she made a smart move but the truth is women just don't know anything about guns.
You know not even a minute and I can already tell you are beyond miserable and can’t see beyond tv so that’s something
How would you know that women don’t know nothing guns
@@AntLoud773 don't ever question me, boy.
You need to go back to bed cuz you're over here saying dumb stuff
@@BenScorpiowell I bet a women who's a cop would know about guns
The suspension of disbelief needed to watch this garbage is amazing
This show keeps proving time and time again just how fuckin STUPID it is and how it does not compare to real life in any way shape or form.
