Hi have the black dial OP41 and it fits my 7.25 inch wrist perfectly, Agree completely with your review of this classic looking time piece, the 41 has a slightly different dial layout and with the 5mm easy link and excellent loom I’m happy with boring.
It’s a nice watch made even nicer by the Rolex crown. Let’s be honest you can get a just as well made Omega for half the price or a Breitling for a third the price.
Technically true, but I don’t go into the specifications too much. It’s more subjective or emotional for me, maybe irrational, but I just feel something special with wearing a Rolex that I didn’t get with Omega or Tudor.
Is it me or does the dial diameter of the OP appear smaller than the explorer? It could be a trick of the light because of the domed Vs flat bezels, or maybe something to do with the larger markers on the explorer?
My wrist is also 6.5 inches. The 36mm size is much more appropriate for an OP or Datejust. With a sports watch like the submariner or gmt, 40 mm does well.
@@sc1 i hope 😿 am living in middle east and there 4 rolex ADs in my city and i have purchased BB41 from them so it is possible even to get this 36mm black op or 39mm explorer?
No, these are actually both 36 mm, I have small wrists. I bought the OP first, trying to get the classic “Explorer” aesthetic, but it didn’t quite measure up, so then I picked up the Explorer 36 mm. I am curious about trying out the 39 mm Explorer, so I just recently asked my AD for it. Not sure about requesting the submariner 41 (although I really like it), I can’t ask for too much at one time.
@@sc1 same as me I own 5 much much more expensive ones but they are all Rolex with great workhorse movements it might be more affordable but to say it’s entry level I think not, £4700 in the uk is not “entry level” or anywhere else I imagine it’s a lot of money for a watch

Just purchased the op 41 black last week. My first Rolex and I love it. Looks sharp on the wrist.
We need an updated explorer, preferably in 37.5mm
Definitely. I bought the OP as a substitute for the Explorer, but it didn’t quite fit the bill. Would love a new Explorer in 38mm.
Thanks - Great review. The silver and the black dials are my favorite OP's
Absolutely agree !!.
Great investment.😊

I have the black dial with the pink stick markers. Something a little different
Love the OP.
What size is your wrist?
I want to get an OP but not sure what size leaning more towards 36mm as I have small wrists 6.5 inches

@@sc1 Thanks for the reply 👍
I tried on the 41mm date just and was like "Nope, way too big". And my wrist is 7.25.
My explorer 39mm was the ideal size for me.
do you like the blue deal in this model?
yes
My dream watch is 36mm black op, is it hard to get it at AD ?
no, it’s not hard at all.

Now you can buy explorer 36mm.. which is better than oyster perpetual models.
@@rajat0694 i dont have 13-15k to blow on it unfortunately,,

Boring is spectacular 😊. There is really comforting about elegance and boring. Are these both the 39mm?

@@sc1 Ahhh. The 36 is such a classic size. When I picked up the new Sub we also tried on Datejusts and the 36 Datejust is really quite perfect.
Love the watches! Thanks for the video!
How do u find legibility? Have to move it to find a proper light?
it is very legible in almost any lighting.
Sorry but there is no entry level Rolex ! It’s a Rolex !
No disrespect intended! (But the was one of my least expensive Rolex to purchase from the AD)

This is the 116000, right?
yes
If you don't like it anymore I'll take it as a gift after my exams 🤣👍
