Alex Chilton - My Baby Just Cares For Me

Alex Chilton performs this great jazz standard at the Cooper-Young Festival in Memphis in 1999 with Richard Dworkin on drums and Ron Easley on bass. The song will probably forever be identified with Nina Simone but was first written in 1930 - a few years before she was born - by Walter Donaldson and Gus Kahn for a recording featured in the very early musical comedy film called "Whoopee!".
