I very much enjoyed your tutorial and can't wait to give this a try. I hope you don't mind a suggestion. I have been woodworking for 25 years and one of the big no-no's in finishing is to wet the wood after sanding. Wetting the wood after sanding swells the fibers and causes them to rise. The most common method for removing dust is a quick wipe with a lint-free cloth and a good wipe down with tack cloth. Despite this, I think that the slightly raised fibers may actually help to give the chemicals something to cling to. It also might a give slight elevation for the heat gun to catch the fibers and burn quicker. I hope you don't find the suggestion offensive. I intend to try your method first but if you intend to finish with polyurethane or another sealant you won't get the most smooth finish possible.
I can watch all your tutorials! Without getting annoyed, you get to the point with only the info thatâs needed. Thank you for explaining with clarity and sharing all your tips and tricks! Love your personality too! So charming

I new to Cricuit and recently started viewing the Mr Crafty Pants CZcams channel. Great crafting ideas and clearly explained. I learned about Design Bundles from one of Michaelâs videos.
I was already a longtime customer of Design Bundles, and I found their CZcams channel just this week. This is the first video that Iâve seen by Mr Crafty Pants and I am an instant fan! Please keep using him for your videos Design Bundles! He does SUCH an amazing job explaining everything! â€ïž
Hello, i just so happened to find this video today!! and thanks for all of the tips and tricks!! So very informational and helpful!! I also wanted to mention that there is a marker called" Scorch " Marker thats basically the same concept for wood burning as what you"re showing in this video!! It works amazingly and can be found on Amazon, Michael's,or Hobby Lobby!! YOU MUST TRY IT OUT FOR YOURSELF!! It is super simple to use you just fill in your stencil as if it were a normal marker and then heat it with your heat gun and the results are BEAUTIFUL!! Please lmk if you decide to try it yourself!!!
I am cheap and haven't found precut parchment sheets that were affordable enough for my liking but do agree that the precut ones are so much easier! So I buy the huge parchment rolls at Costco and spend about 30 mins cutting them into a stack of 12x12 &12x24 sheets. I typically buy/cut 6-8 of the huge rolls at a time so I only need to do this once ever few months +I also use them under painting, gluing and other crafts so they go pretty quickly). I open all the boxes and stack the sheets, using binder clips to initially keep the ends together while getting set up, and spread them across my large kitchen island (approx 8') where I have pre-measured cuts marked with masking tape over cheap silicone cut mats (one under each cut line). I add a few short bungee cords in between cuts and at the ends to secure the multiple layers of stacked paper, and this also holds the stacked paper together at the end until iam ready to pull them across for my next set of cuts. The paper is slightly over 24" wide so it's perfect to cut in 12" strips, and later cut a stack in half again to get the smaller. Using a rotary tool, it goes super quick and you get tons for $20 (2 huge parchment rolls for $9.99). đ
@@macsteamroller lots of things! As a heat shield when ironing on vinyl, as a drop cloth when painting, gluing or doing any other messy craft, as a means to easily wrangle and recycle glitter because it doesn't stick to it, tracing paper for patterns or other transfers...đ
