I used to feel good about having a float of 4-6 mil at any given time. Since joining your guild discord and watching your vids on a regular basis, I now feel like someoneâs poor relation. You know, the one that brings a bottle of $30 wine to a family gathering thinking that he is hot shit and then sees bottles of Dom P chilling in the custom built wine fridge, just waiting to be uncorked. Seriously though, I respect how much work you put into chasing all that coin, man. I just do not have the time or the dedication to hit those big numbers. Interesting, I just checked and only 2 of my character have done that quest. But yes, understanding the price of items and the proper time when to sell them is super important on ESO. I used to sell lots of single and full packs of motif pages, from different styles, at guild traders or C.O.D., and this sustained me for years, until I stopped. Very nice video. đ

For me personly I'm in love with the elder scrolls universe.. But som dialogue could use some different outcomes and decisions.. and much shorter build-ups. Sometimes a -whole chapter- is a build up for the next DLC... Too much IMO. And an increase in difficulty. These would bring some of the Elder Scrolls main game nostalgia into ESO for me and I would quest much more. Despite this there's still the occasional gem quest that pulls me in.
I absolutely love the Elder Scrolls universe as well! I've got whole backstories and headcanons that merge with a lot of the events and history of this universe for my two main characters that I play in ESO, as well as my Dragonborn that I play in Skyrim I do wish that the quests from ESO took more inspiration from the ones in Skyrim, where the decisions made by the player could have more noteworthy impacts. The end of the mages guild questline in ESO is probably the quest that reminds me of Skyrim the most, since you really are given such a drastic decision that will actually impact you [SPOILERS]: save Valaste, but sacrifice a skill point? A skill point that you will never be able to have. Or, sacrifice Valaste, and get that skill point. Loved that predicament. (I saved her of course haha). Some more engaging dialogue and increased difficulty would also be appreciated, but I understand that this is an MMO, and not a single-player game, so there's a reason why things are the way they are.
Just joined a trading guild for the first time 2 days ago and put a Gallant Chain up for sale. I crafted it up to gold first and it sold for 600k in about 10 hours. Thanks for the tip !

1) It's probably a combination of a better audio recording setup that can pick up more bass + I've gradually become more comfortable using my more "natural" voice, as opposed to the more "customer service" type voice I've had to implement when working my irl job as time has passed. 2) For legal reasons, I do not t-bag players in Cyrodiil (*whispers* but no, unfortunately not nearly as satisfying)

I get carried by this wonderful reshade preset: www.nexusmods.com/elderscrollsonline/mods/144 I also max out my graphics via the settings menu in-game. While the reshade doesn't hinder my fps, the in-game graphical settings definitely do - especially view distance. But it's worth it for those crisp shots
Got the gallant chain on level 20, deconstructed immediately, as I did the entire set of War Maiden's on my play thru of vvardenfell. Then I realized it was a great set. Mother sorrow infernal staffs still sell occasionally for 6-9k xbox EU . I am surprised warrior poet stuff doesn't sell for more, it makes a great solo "tankish" set, goes really well with hatchling shell, tons of health and resistance.

Ah yeah, so Iâve heard. Our economies are pretty different though so Iâm sure your 50k can still get you a lot more things than our 50k can on PC NA đ Hopefully 50k for (I heard the quest can be done in as little as) 10 minutes of your time isnât too awful đ
Nope, definitely still worth it! I checked traders in multiple cities and honestly the prices are all over the place - a couple in Vivec City had it around 50k but other cities had it for 100-200k so who knows. I put mine on a trader in Vivec for 60k so weâll see if it moves or not. I still have 8 other characters I can do the quest on.
The way the curated loot system works, is that you will receive gear from bosses that you do not already have "bound" to your account. So, by deliberately refusing to bind certain items, you can basically guarantee that you will get them to drop every time.
I regularly sell Trainee chests on Xbox NA, they only move for around 35k if purple. I have 6 Gallant Chains stored because everytime I list them( even cheaper than the regular version) they never sell. Perhaps people will finally recognize this on Xbox and they'll sell due to this video! Amazed they go for that much on PC.
Fingers crossed! The heavy trainee chest is such a cornerstone to so many great pvp builds, I hope that peeps on your platform may finally realize it đ
This also happened with the reinforced pariah chest peopleon xbox na weren't spending the stupid amounts of gold on it then the luxury furnisher dropped gold pariah jewlery and I gave upfarming gear because directly after that thesticker book came out and prices and liquidity of stock crashed. Just finished farming alinor furniture plans and that too has yeilded little gold. Purple whisteria window box 120k gold only probably the only alinor furnishing still worth the 400k mark is the blueprint:display case large and only people interested in housing pay that much to essentially make fish tanks lol

In order to make purple armor gold, you will need gold materials (in the case of heavy armor: tempering alloy). Transmute crystals are used to change the *TRAIT* of the gear. For example, I could use transmute crystals to change the trait of my TRAINING Trainee curiass to be REINFORCED instead. The amount of crystals that you need will vary depending on how many items of that collection you have. To continue with the trainee example: the more trainee gear you have already "bound" to your account, the less crystals it will cost to transmute a piece of trainee gear. You can get transmute crystals from many sources, such as completing pledges, completing a random normal, or from pvping (rewards of the worthy coffers). Edit: clarification on retransmutting vs reconstructing below - ty!

@@misterbean4125 let me add this - there are two ways to change Trait on your gear. Taking one item and changing it's trait will always cost 50 transmute stones. The other way is to RECONSTRUCT a copy of it from your collections, and this is when the cost of transmutes goes down (like Arttea siad) depending on the amount of items from this set that you know, it starts at 75 and ends at 25 when you found every single item. So its a bit different, when you have not found a lot of items from this set its better to change the trait on the item itself, but if you found a lot - its better to reconstruct a new one using less than 50 transmutes. I hope I clearly explained it :)
Didnt âmetaâ come from the term âmetagameâ? The acronym is definitely helpful for understanding what we mean now when we say meta, but I swear it started as a shorthand for metagame which was a term used in other game genres like card games

In game advantages and disadvantages of specific characters combined with specific styles of play not inherent to the game, and studying other teams, etc. are all significant parts of the meta. Eso pvp is like this too, where the pvper has to build and play in ways that think about and counteract the ways that others are playing. Thats why flavor of the month sets and tactics work. The meta shifts for a minute to focus on something new because the rock beat the scissors of the previous meta. But then paper comes around shifts the meta again. And around and round we go. At least in pvp talk, meta is less âmost effective tactic availableâ and more âwhat counters major build and playstyle trends right now?â However, in pve, where fights are basically static compared with pvp, it really is âmost effective tactic availableâ because its basically a number crunching game where you need practice to execute that math well

Im just adding on the reasons why metas can shift even when game rules, mechanics, and such dont shift especially in games with significant counter play options. As one thing rises to the top, if it has counters, those counters will rise to the top eventually. Then those counters take over as top dog, and their own counters come in, rinse and repeat. Thats what happens in a well balanced pvp game. Where we run into trouble is when one tactic is definitively the best, with fewer or no good counters available. This is also why pvp on the different platforms can have varied metas, because different communities have different cultures and may end up playing different and thus demanding different counters and such. Things like controller shape and scheme, demographics of a specific server, influential people, etc. all contribute to shaping the meta in pvp scenarios. Pve is less susceptible to these shifts though because we arent fighting intelligent enemies who are trying to counter us as we counter them at every move. Theyre just damage sponges that can schwack real hard sometimes
Trading was my fav thing. Now that they changed the farming thing they've screwed me! I made 10 mil plus spent prob another 5 in my first year. Now it's pulling teeth even with 5 of my guilds in main City traders. Then they raise dues. Is this only on ps na? So annoying!

The "overland" is a term that refers to all of the non-single-instanced (or group instanced) zones. For example, Auridon, or Vvardenfell would be considered the overland. An instanced area, like a trial, dungeon, or arena would not. So, the dungeon Banished Cells would not be considered part of the overland. Gear found from overland zones can be purchased and sold to other players, whereas gear from trials and dungeons can not. Hope that clarifies things!
No worries, thatâs a perfectly reasonable question! I sell them on my trading guildâs guild store. These stores are available to be viewed by the public when players approach the trader that we own (youâll notice these traders in a lot of major cities, among other places).
As @Arttea mentions, you want to be in a dedicated trading guild, to get the best gold for your sales. Look around, but be aware that most, if not all, of the best trading guilds have requirements as to how much you need to sell, or donate in gold, per week/month. This is mainly for the upkeep of the vendor. to have your guild vendor in a lucrative, high traffic area, costs quite a bit of gold.
Ok good lesson in "All that glitters is not gold" Obtaining this at level 50 it's worthless. Needs to be 160 CP, Gold quality and anyway the TD's are saturated with them!

I regularly sell Trainee chests on Xbox NA, they only move for around 35k if purple. I have 6 Gallant Chains stored because everytime I list them( even cheaper than the regular version) they never sell. Perhaps people will finally recognize this on Xbox and they'll sell due to this video! Amazed they go for that much on PC.
Fingers crossed! The heavy trainee chest is such a cornerstone to so many great pvp builds, I hope that peeps on your platform may finally realize it đ
This also happened with the reinforced pariah chest peopleon xbox na weren't spending the stupid amounts of gold on it then the luxury furnisher dropped gold pariah jewlery and I gave upfarming gear because directly after that thesticker book came out and prices and liquidity of stock crashed. Just finished farming alinor furniture plans and that too has yeilded little gold. Purple whisteria window box 120k gold only probably the only alinor furnishing still worth the 400k mark is the blueprint:display case large and only people interested in housing pay that much to essentially make fish tanks lol

If I can ever earn big enough coin to actually BUY that Coldharbour Surreal Estate, I plan to move ALL of my darker equipment from my Lunar Champions house to the Estate house and use that as my vampire house for my Dark Elf. đđBut my PS4 controller has been acting psycho with the drifting crap lately. Fingers crossed that I can get that resolved soon because Iâm legitimately ticked off about that stupid controller messing up.

In order to make purple armor gold, you will need gold materials (in the case of heavy armor: tempering alloy). Transmute crystals are used to change the *TRAIT* of the gear. For example, I could use transmute crystals to change the trait of my TRAINING Trainee curiass to be REINFORCED instead. The amount of crystals that you need will vary depending on how many items of that collection you have. To continue with the trainee example: the more trainee gear you have already "bound" to your account, the less crystals it will cost to transmute a piece of trainee gear.
You can get transmute crystals from many sources, such as completing pledges, completing a random normal, or from pvping (rewards of the worthy coffers).

@@misterbean4125 let me add this - there are two ways to change Trait on your gear. Taking one item and changing it's trait will always cost 50 transmute stones. The other way is to RECONSTRUCT a copy of it from your collections, and this is when the cost of transmutes goes down (like Arttea siad) depending on the amount of items from this set that you know, it starts at 75 and ends at 25 when you found every single item. So its a bit different, when you have not found a lot of items from this set its better to change the trait on the item itself, but if you found a lot - its better to reconstruct a new one using less than 50 transmutes. I hope I clearly explained it :)

Didnt âmetaâ come from the term âmetagameâ? The acronym is definitely helpful for understanding what we mean now when we say meta, but I swear it started as a shorthand for metagame which was a term used in other game genres like card games
Most sources claim it's from most effective tactic available because meta would have to mean something other than it does (like a behaviour outside of the game itself)
That sounds plausible! I can see how it's both a word that is derived from another term, and a handy acronym to quickly describe its* definition and usage in gaming environments.
@@Sk0lzky So yes, but in a game like Smite or League of Legends or othet E-sports title, that really is what meta means. In game advantages and disadvantages of specific characters combined with specific styles of play not inherent to the game, and studying other teams, etc. are all significant parts of the meta. Eso pvp is like this too, where the pvper has to build and play in ways that think about and counteract the ways that others are playing. Thats why flavor of the month sets and tactics work. The meta shifts for a minute to focus on something new because the rock beat the scissors of the previous meta. But then paper comes around shifts the meta again. And around and round we go. At least in pvp talk, meta is less âmost effective tactic availableâ and more âwhat counters major build and playstyle trends right now?â However, in pve, where fights are basically static compared with pvp, it really is âmost effective tactic availableâ because its basically a number crunching game where you need practice to execute that math well

Both in card games (I'm ashamed to admit I spent my time and money on MTG back in the day) and in various team based PvP games it was always just "the way to play that grants you the highest chance of success", aka team/deck composition, how to position the players on the map, how to react to various threats/plays etc.
@@Sk0lzky yea, thats how Im using the term. Im just adding on the reasons why metas can shift even when game rules, mechanics, and such dont shift especially in games with significant counter play options. As one thing rises to the top, if it has counters, those counters will rise to the top eventually. Then those counters take over as top dog, and their own counters come in, rinse and repeat. Thats what happens in a well balanced pvp game. Where we run into trouble is when one tactic is definitively the best, with fewer or no good counters available.
This is also why pvp on the different platforms can have varied metas, because different communities have different cultures and may end up playing different and thus demanding different counters and such. Things like controller shape and scheme, demographics of a specific server, influential people, etc. all contribute to shaping the meta in pvp scenarios. Pve is less susceptible to these shifts though because we arent fighting intelligent enemies who are trying to counter us as we counter them at every move. Theyre just damage sponges that can schwack real hard sometimes

Trading was my fav thing. Now that they changed the farming thing they've screwed me! I made 10 mil plus spent prob another 5 in my first year. Now it's pulling teeth even with 5 of my guilds in main City traders. Then they raise dues. Is this only on ps na? So annoying!

What is a over land quest
The "overland" is a term that refers to all of the non-single-instanced (or group instanced) zones. For example, Auridon, or Vvardenfell would be considered the overland. An instanced area, like a trial, dungeon, or arena would not. So, the dungeon Banished Cells would not be considered part of the overland.
Gear found from overland zones can be purchased and sold to other players, whereas gear from trials and dungeons can not. Hope that clarifies things!

No worries, thatâs a perfectly reasonable question! I sell them on my trading guildâs guild store. These stores are available to be viewed by the public when players approach the trader that we own (youâll notice these traders in a lot of major cities, among other places).
As @Arttea mentions, you want to be in a dedicated trading guild, to get the best gold for your sales. Look around, but be aware that most, if not all, of the best trading guilds have requirements as to how much you need to sell, or donate in gold, per week/month. This is mainly for the upkeep of the vendor. to have your guild vendor in a lucrative, high traffic area, costs quite a bit of gold.
