@@whatever3145for the work she put in? Yeah, they are. She spent 20 hours on this set of nails. That’s almost an entire day. A standard set of nails, decorated or not, is usually around 100 dollars and takes an hour. She’s not selling these either by the way, this was a what if/challenge video.

No way in this universe would I pay $500 for a set of nails, especially Strawberry shortcake themed, but… on an artistic level, these are amazing! So detailed & perfectly rendered, with the difficulty of painting a scene across multiple tiny curved canvases. Awesome 👏

I love that you don’t upsell cheap nails and instead you find a way to genuinely use every dollar. A lot of salons would give someone a cheap gradient with a French tip style or something and be like “$500+tip please”
My daughters bestie paid $300 for prom nails and I about beat that child to a pulp! She wont tell me where she went because she knows Id drag her back and demand they be done to look like a $300 nail job! (I cant believe her own momma allowed that bs to happen! ) Lumpy af, nothing matched, cheap af wish bears that looked tarded af. I was so sad she got taken like that. She's 15! Some of these Vietnamese shops are getting really cheap on product but raising prices. They push styles you do not like and insist on not having on your nails, then they pretend they didnt understand you and do it anyways. And they ALWAYS say, "Uhhh For YOU, $20 discount!" lmao. Ive only found 1 Vietnamese shop near me that does work deserving of my dollar amd their cheaper than everyone else! My nails will be falling off after barely 2 wks or snapping when they used last until I wanted them to come off! I used to say acrylics were like cement nails, but now? Overlooking the price is easy when you consider the time, precision and creative concept for these. I would happily pay a good chunk of money for anything I think is worth celebrating a unique skill set, as the same with art collectors. This is, effectively, wearable art.
