      Thanks for sharing your disciplines. I daily spend time reading the Word of God. The Bible has rich wisdom and covers everything from relationships, finances and interpersonal growth. I can’t live without it. ❤️

    Other than when I have to be somewhere really early I no longer use an alarm to wake up. I wake with the sunrise. This week I'm waking a bit later because of daylight savings but as the days get longer I will wake earlier and earlier. I just need to get better at going to bed earlier at night to compensate. You're right, it's the best time of the day for energy and peace. I often make something arty/crafty, do a bit of decluttering (lately), read or make plans first thing in the morning. I've been doing various exercise classes for years now, currently two per week, and never question going, it's just part of my weekly routine. I find that if I'm a bit flat but still show up I feel so much better and more energised after the class. During the warmer months I also try to get in some walking but I haven't really got a routine for that yet. The other daily routine I find helpful, although I'm not good at sticking to it, is a quick tidy up at the end of the day.Besides daily routines I've been following a weekly routine for a few years. I found that my weeknights never seemed very productive because there were so many things demanding my attention that I would do a bit of this and a bit of that and never really finish anything or one thing would take my entire evening and I'd feel guilty for not getting around to something else that needed doing. So I came up with a schedule - Mon is craft night, Tues is a gym night but when I get home I can do more craft or something else I feel like (or need to do but that's not a regular thing), Wed is bookkeeping/bill paying/paperwork night, Thurs is for folding all the clean washing that's built up over the week and Fri is free choice. I've found this really works for me and I don't feel the pressure to do all these things every week night now.

    I love hearing about what keeps you sane. Maybe a day in the life video? I miss your vlogs. 😊 could you do a video on your bank accounts and how you use them? I'm not sure if you have one already . I'm going to start to schedule my workouts. since moving in June I've been sporadic and out of routine, so it's just twice a week. I love your top, too. It is a beautiful color on you!

    I started intermittent fasting after you and someone else suggested it. Unexpected and awesome side effect - it has helped with my tummy issues. I need to start exercising again, so your suggestion of three times a week sounds manageable :)

    You are so inspiring!!
    I find being organised with food prep and meals, if I plan ahead, I only buy ingredients I need, i know exactly what I'm cooking each day and it makes sure I' m eating healthily rather than grabbing fast and easy but unhealthy choices. I also try and cook in large batches when I can so there's enough for two meals in one week and some for the freezer!
    But miss your daily vlogs Canna, they are so inspiring as well. xx

      Oh gosh I just love intermittent fasting! The earlier I can have dinner the better (recently I have had dinner as early as 3 pm!). You have so much more time in the evening! xCC

      Every morning, while I drink my coffee, I go over all my banking accounts, retirement accounts and budget. I get up everyday between 5-6am.I also watch an inspirational CZcams video every morning. I am a single Mama. I have a 5 year old son. I have 5 jobs! I think putting even this simple habit in place helps me stay grounded.

      Having a partner in the same bed does change things and make it a bit tricker. But after a while, your body should adjust and you may not need an alarm. xCC
