    Started losing my hair at around 24. Went deep into denial about it, moving my hair to cover up the patchy spots, but by age 27 I couldn't deny it anymore. I cut it short, but it showed bad, I was still too young to be balding. It really affected my self esteem. Never had a solid crisis, but it did suck at first. I eventually started to listen to Joe Rogan talk about balding and worked up the courage to shave my head, hands down the best choice I've made regarding my hair. I look badass and my confidence is way up, though the beard and hitting the gym definitely helps, and luckily my skull has a nice shape to it, I was really worried I'd have a fucked up cranium.

      Don't Shave That Hair!!!
      I have recently made a mistake in my life, and I offer my story to you, that you may learn from my error. It all started, as many things do, with me having trouble shitting.
      No, I was not constipated; this was not a regularity problem but a matter of technique. It seems my ass-hair had grown to such a length that tiny grogans were constantly getting tied up in the matted jungle between my asscheeks. It led to much frustration, with me KNOWING that I still had something to drop, but unable to shake the tenacious turd loose from its butthair dwelling. Eventually I would have to do two things: either reach down with some paper and try to pinch off the lingering loaf (which required careful precision to avoid smearing the creature all over my rear, especially since I had no way of seeing what I was doing) or just go for broke, start wiping, and hope that I could remove all the leftover fecal matter before the toilet paper reached its Can't-Be-Flushed threshold.
      I was contemplating this problem, when I had what seemed at the time to be a bright idea. "Hey! This is my butt and my butt-hair, right? So why don't I just eliminate all the hair, and then my grogans will flow out like beer from a keg!" I said to myself. It is a statement that will go down in history with a lot of other regretted statements. "How many Indians could there be?" said by General Custer. "Looks like a good day for a drive!" by JFK. "There! America On-Line now has complete Usenet access!" by some idiot system tech. Such was my anal shaving idea.
      I performed the operation that night, with a cheap disposable razor and a towel to sit on. Starting from the bottom, and shaving from the crack to the cheeks, I began the arduous process of ridding my ass of hair. Occassionally, I would have to clean the razor of accumulated hair and miscellaneous slime, which I did by wiping it on the towel. Slowly, my twin mounds and the between-ravine began to resemble the hairless cheeks of a newborn baby. Finally, I wiped the razor one last time, and surveyed my work. The towel was covered with a pile of hair. My ass was smooth as ivory. I smiled, satisfied, thinking my troubles were over.
      Little did I know.
      I now have a great respect for anal-hair. Like everything in this world God created, it has its mighty purpose in existence. It was only after I had removed it that I started to learn how much I had been taking it for granted. For one, it provides friction. I learned this the next day, when I walked out into the sun heading for class. After climbing two flights of stairs and starting to sweat, I started to notice something unpleasant. The sweat was accumulating in my crack, and was causing the unpleasant sensation of my two asscheeks sliding past each other with every step. I thought about going to the bathroom and wiping it off, but had to get to class. Eventually, I thought, it would dry.
      Unfortunately, it did dry, but only after mingling with the microscopic shit- molecules lingering around my brown starfish. When I stood up after class, my cheeks were stuck together with a slimy sticky shit/sweat combination. As I made my way back to my dorm, it started to itch. God-DAMN, did it itch! Felt like a swarm of ants was making its way up and down my crack. Fighting to keep from jamming my hand down there and scratching away, I rushed back to the dorm.
      Unfortunately again, this exertion caused me to sweat, and when I finally reached my room, my cheeks were sliding back and forth against each other like a pair of horny cane-toads. I quickly dropped my pants, and attempted to dry my ass off by sticking it in front of a fan and spreading my cheeks. As I pulled the two mounds of flesh apart, a horrible stench burst free and filled the room. Every dog within a 4 block radius started to howl. I had it worst of all, as the ripe aroma of festering shit/sweat went into the fan and blew back into my face. I fought to keep from heaving. And as I sat there, fighting vomit, my ass cheeks spread and dripping, with the concentrated aroma of my body odor mixed with the tangy smell of my own shit blowing right into my face, I had only one thought: "It will be like this until the hair grows back. Weeks."
      Later on, trying to deal as best I could, wiping my ass at every opportunity, I discovered another wonderful use for ass-hair - ventilation. I attempted to launch a fart, only to have it get stuck between my asscheeks. Apparently, with no hair, the two pink twins can get vacuum sealed together, and the result was a frustrating fart that slid up and down between my cheeks like a lost gerbil.
      As if that wasn't enough, I am now enduring further torture. As anyone who has ever shaved anything knows, when hair is first growing in, it comes in as stubble. Imagine your ass having the texture of a brillo pad. Well, that is what I am dealing with now. It is a hellish torture, and there are many times when I just look out the window and contemplate why I shouldn't just jump out and get it all over with in one fleshy splat, rather than endure this constant agony.
      Friends, DON'T SHAVE YOUR ASS-HAIR!

    I have some information to share with you that is not commonly known. In early 2022, my hair was thick and dense, but by the end of that year, I experienced significant hair loss, resulting in decreased thickness and density. However, I was able to regain control of my hair fall by adopting several positive habits. Firstly, I eliminated junk food from my diet. Secondly, I began exercising for 15 minutes daily to improve blood circulation. Additionally, I started drinking lukewarm water on an empty stomach every morning to aid in detoxification. Finally, I switched to Littleextra's safe and natural cocoonion shampoo and oil, massaging my hair twice a week and washing it after a few hours. As a result, my hair fall has reduced, and I have noticed new hairs growing on my scalp. In conclusion, it is possible to control hair fall by adopting a healthy lifestyle and positive habits.

      @@DashLashBoy Then I apologize to my other comprehensive comment. Every body issue is just as important as cancer and we can afford to invest a little in other efforts given the recent improvements in treatment.
      I just have a strong reaction to the behavior of minimizing something we can make progress in just because a more pressing issue is on the table. That mentality spreads like a virus and if we always prioritized more serious issues, society would never have advanced to what it is now. We'd likely still be in medieval times. Sometimes, it's the less serious issues that give great information that can pave the way to other resolving other issues. Often times, this results in an accidental discovery. Not to mention that the sooner it is explored, the sooner we can observe long-term effects. Marijuana is, unfortunately, in the middle-zone because of narrow-minded individuals in the past who chose to follow a propaganda and demonize something that could be good.

      I don't know if this can help you. But here's my theory about balding. 1. Testosterone, is a necessary hormone and is essential for muscle growth and strength. 2. Stress, causes you to become tense and tighten certain muscles commonly but not only in the face and head area. 3. Posture, poor posture tightens certain muscles which, with correct posture would not be tightened. Especially with people who live a sedentary life, the muscles at the back of the head will tighten to keep the head facing horizontally. 4. Magnesium supplements, have been shown to decrease the rate of balding and is known to be a muscle relaxant. 5. Peppermint essential oil, has been shown to be more effective at reducing the rate of balding in men compared to Minoxidil a anti-hypertensive vasodilator medication. Peppermint is known to be an effective muscle-relaxant and stress-releiver. 6. DHT, like testosterone is essential in the development of muscles, blocking DHT then causes decreased muscle-growth. 7. Scalp massages has been shown to increase hair-growth, but not reliably. 8. Botox injections to the brow area have been shown to increase hair-growth as an unintentional side-effect.
      Based on this, my theory is as follows. Chronic activity in muscles at the brow area, scalp and back of the head create a situation similar to a swimming cap which prevent hair from receiving the nutrients it needs. This is caused by, stress, poor posture and poor nutrition. The genetic link then would be your propensity to become stressed. However more importantly, the way you deal with stress and how well you take care of your body which are epigenetic factors, not genetic.
      Now, consider the fact that the hair-loss industry is worth 4 Billion annually they have no incentive to tell you about this link. In the worst case none of this will work, but you're at least decreasing stress, correcting your posture and eating healthy. Which has benefits across the spectrum.

    The thing is, some people have the face shape, the skin color and the bone structure to rock the receding hairline or the full bald. And some...do not. For example, I relied on my thick, wavy hair to compensate for my less than average looks. Styled correctly, it gave me a more intellectual flair and represented accurately how I felt inside. Not beautiful, but comfortably average.
    Now that I am balding, my greatest asset in the looks department has been removed. I'll get over it of course, but I do not look good bald. At all. And to people saying it's all in your head. No, it really isn't. People look at me differently now, and it isn't a favorable difference. You shouldn't lie to people going through a difficult experience.
    My one consolation is that I am not a balding woman. That truly must be hell and I have great sympathy for any sister in that predicament.

It is safe to assume that drug use plus a poor diet was at play. You can't get the best nutrition living and panhandling in the streets. It is mostly genetic and it is why it is emphasized. These were more about debunking myths we've all heard before. But I agree it should be giving more mention. It is mostly about genes than food as diets vary throughout the world.

    Minoxidil once a day in the evening.
    Finasteride stops the hair falling out; minoxidil encourages hair growth.

    My grandad started balding in his 20’s, my dad in his 30’s. I was fortunate. I didn’t start losing hair until my late 40’s. I didn’t wait, I started using Rogaine and it stopped it from falling out. I’m 53 now and have just the slight thinning at the crown which hasn’t gotten any worse since I started using it. Of course I’m going to have to use the Rogaine indefinitely.

    I knew where the journey was going whenever I took a look at my father. I started balding in my mid 20s and tried all the stuff they advertised: Alpecine, Propecia and so on. But all that stuff proved either useless or too expensive.
    4 years ago I said "F**k it!" and simply shaved my head and it was the best solution to the problem. I fortunately have a good head shape and a body to back it up (by far not like the Expandables, but quite sporty). Now I don't have to stress about my hairdo in the morning, don't need forever to dry my hair after showering and safe a ton of money since I don't need to go to a hairdresser and don't need hair products.
    If there ever is a simple, affordable solution to get my hair back, I'd try it out, but for now simply shaving the head is the best solution for me.

    I noticed some thinning in the front right side of my scalp and a bit in the middle. I think mine was due to a combination of stress, buildup of dandruff and only getting 70% of my daily iron. So I keep my stress low, take an iron supplement and shower everyday rather than every other day. I do see some improvement after a couple months. I’ll see what results I get in a few more months.

    I’m always amazed how we can send men into outer space and unmanned vehicles to run on mars and yet we can seem to solve riddles that cause cancer, baldness and teeth loss and cure them. Btw I wash my hair with water and rarely use shampoo and guess what I have great hair into my 50’s whereas my co workers and other family members are balding. I therefore don’t recommend using shampoo everyday since I believe too many harsh detergents are in many products. Look at PABA which has been in sunscreen for years and now the FDA is discovering it may not be helpful. All these things come out years later

    • @slimjim7411
      @slimjim7411 Před 5 lety

      Well that's because it's all genetic's, and every time scientist start messing with genetic's everyone screams "NO YOU'RE PLAYING GOD!" and whatever they were using for their research gets shut down or banned. Cancer isn't some foreign invasive disease it's literally the body experiencing a software error and writing bad code. So if we want to cure cancer we have to play God and get into the DNA, and start changing it.
      Plus what scientist to trust is tricky. For example once upon a time everyone cooked with lard and butter it makes food taste great...it's full of fat because well it is fat. So they started pushing margarine, and other butter substitutes. Years later hey guess what that stuff is terrible for you...and Lard? The fat in lard is good healthy fat that your body needs. Moral of the story...if it came out of a lab it's probably got some negative long term effects.
      I had a school teacher once who had THE most full beautiful long hair a woman could possibly have. Her secret? Horse manure...yep she washed her hair with some kind of homebrew horse manure concoction.

    • @khajiithadwares2263
      @khajiithadwares2263 Před 5 lety

      Solving baldness can be done in two ways: studying the scalp and individual hairs - the way science does it today, promoting hair transplant or shutting down DHT production via drugs. (which is only temporary, costs money and has side effects: case&point theres a gamer called Reckful who is known for his fast reactions in game, best rogue in WOW, 290 words-per-minute , chill, noBS tyep of guy. He was balding so he attempted to take DHT-inhibitors. In a matter of weeks we turned from what he was to very bad a reaction-time (delayed), and turned very melodramatic, apologizing, crying for no reason, 3-5 times a week.) (czcams.com/video/Gx7l2oycZGA/video.html)
      Heres reading into nervous system, fight-response and its chemical activator/catalysts (adrenaline and DHT):
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sympathetic_nervous_system
      The sympathetic nervous system is described as being antagonistic to
      the parasympathetic nervous system which stimulates the body to "feed
      and breed" and to (then) "rest-and-digest".
      The sympathetic nervous system plays its function in preparing the whole body for action, maintaining homeostasis (constant temp overall), constriction effect used in waking up, in muscle activation, heart-rate incrs., dilating blood vessels and lung capacity. Blocking digestive, kidney and bladder function. Its in contrast with the parasympathetic which promotes digestion, rest, growth and individual organ function. The nerve-activating catalyst for sympathetic response/fight-flight is done via adrenaline or DHT. The activation of parasympathetic dilatate, relax, rest and digest auto-response is done via acetylcholine (ammonia and acetic acid)

    • @khajiithadwares2263
      @khajiithadwares2263 Před 5 lety

      The other way to go around DHT is to understand its function in the body and what does it react to.
      DHT plays a role in the fight-or-flight mechanism activated in cases of danger-situations, when fast reaction is needed, saving lives, fast decisions. but also in keeping erections and making erections possible.
      Because of this I believe DHT to be very volatile, very quick to combust and build pressure, which means it reacts to HEAT, heated environments. A male body is said to be at its most optimal at about 22Celsius, else they get more agressive/ impulsive/ VOLATILE. This is exacerbated by improper clothing societal standards which see men as wearing tight clothing, air-flow restricting pants, which negate the reason why male testicles are situated outside of the body. (to evaporate heat and humidity)
      Here's a study done on teaching environments for different sexes, includes a paragraph on temperature and its effects on boys and the chemical composition involved.: boysadrift.com/ed_horizons.pdf

    • @khajiithadwares2263
      @khajiithadwares2263 Před 5 lety

      We can look at cultures where men used to wear mainly robes (arabs) or kilts (scotts), do they have more hair on their heads? I believe it is the case. Although arabs do tend to live in hotter climates, which negates point.
      Most of the time, us in the western pants-only don't notice that our testicles are kept somtimes at >30-40C, which NEGATES the function or reason why we have the OUTSIDE of the body in the first place; they should be far below average body temp, not sitting around 40C turning the chemicals involved around adrenal/prostate and gonads volatile rather fast, especially when sweating involvedin a closed environment. The upper legs are highly vascularized esp on the inner portion where major blood vessels and femur aeorta are situated.

    • @khajiithadwares2263
      @khajiithadwares2263 Před 5 lety

      So there are two ways to keep DHT production in check:
      Voluntarily, through mental choices: avoid stress, dangerous situations, avoid feeling emotios like despair, fear, hopelessness. (I KNOW, nigh impossible and UNPRACTICAL)
      Involuntarily, at an environment level: make sure that your body is properly ventilated (by body I mostly mean the upper thigh/groin region), make sure you're not doing any heavy work in an anaerobic (low-oxygen heated) envirnoment. (hot climates have less oxygen per square meter than colder regions)
      Respect the body homeostasis, don't keep one part of the body covered, pressurized at 40C while the other is exposed at 10C, the difference in temps can only get more accentuated, Instead try covering everything equally, so its sits at an average 22C.(if male, 26.5 if female)
      DHT and male susceptability to heat (22C optimal environent, turning lethargic/unfocused and eventually aggressive at higher temps) boysadrift.com/ed_horizons.pdf
