Mine still works great 3 years later. Just do basic maintenance to it. The blades will need replacing at some point. Normal wear.

Make sure you replace the head every year or so. Makes a big difference.

Keep it clean inside and replace the blades ones a year or so.

What liquid is used for cleaning it , alcohol?

you could use diluted alcohol or even mouthwash. But they make the official solution for it - but it's kind of expensive.
