Thanks! No real problems other than the underside hitting at a couple of places as you could see in the video. I later found out that it was the lateral brace of the center-stand. And some visibility issues in the rain, but that was mostly due to the aftermarket windshield. The bike did really well over the entire trip, carrying us and our luggage effortlessly over various kinds of roads. The gloves are Rev'It Dirt 3.

How u manage ur bum pain in long rides

Hope it doesn't happen. LOL! For me it depends on several factors, the bike/seat, how conditioned your bum is (are you doing a long ride after a long time) and even what you're wearing. On the Versys and even with the upgraded seats on the Interceptor and Sportster, it would typically happen towards the end of a long day. During this recent trip, just moving my bum a little would get rid of it for some time. I don't know if it's because I've been doing some cycling too over the last few years and my bum is getting conditioned to hard saddles. Speaking of cycling, some suggest wearing padded cycling shorts underneath your riding pants for motorcycling too. I haven't tried it myself yet. I sometimes wear riding overpants over jeans, and with jeans the stitching/seams of the rear pockets can also cause discomfort. If it happens, just take a break and do it before it gets really bad.
