Really depends on the person. Personally, I'd probably choose the Beuchat for Canada and the Hero for everywhere else (tropical places). Our store owner has used both, really likes both, but prefers the Hero Carbon. They're both great for different reasons, and both have their place, depends on your preference for guns, what you're hunting, and your style of hunting.
Well I live in the Caribbean and am just looking for a nice gun in quality and sum that I can use all-round

@@imranramjit2179 It's really going to depend on what species you're hunting. The Salvimar is a beefier gun, with a thicker shaft. The Beuchat is a lot lighter and will be easier to maneuver in the water, but the shaft is thinner. Depends on your style of hunting as well. If you're doing aspetto, laying on the bottom and waiting for fish, you could go either way, however if you're taking quick shots on fast moving fish, you may want the carbon gun. If the fish you're hunting are bigger, you'll want a bigger shaft like the salvimar has. If they're smaller fish, the beuchat is fine.
