    Hey bro I have a salvimar metal 105 and I live in Hawaii. Just wanna say that it’s absolutely my favorite gun. One thing I gotta say tho is that it did shoot a bit slower and heavier with its stock bands compared to my beuchat hero 95 so I do recommend throwing a bit stronger of a band on top for extra power kick and accuracy. 🙏🏽

    This is my favorite gun! Very easy to move around in the water, its perfect for medium/larger sized fish. I never owned a hero before but it seems bulkier than than the metal i would assume the hero is a bit slower to move around in the water compared to the metal

    I'm thinking of buying salvimar metal 105 or Beuchat hero 100. Which one would you recommend? What's the difference between this two?

    Hi, I am thinking of buying the v Sling pro 95cm or the metal 95cm.which would you recommend? What is the major difference between the two?

    • @DivingSports
      @DivingSports  Před 2 lety

      If you mean the voodoo pro, the only difference is that the metal has a metal trigger mech and the voodoo pro has a plastic trigger mech. Overtime the Metal will be more reliable and durable but I've also used the Voodoo pro with no issues. I'd go with the metal if your budget allows for it.

      @@lmnop20sharks If you're looking on scubastore/diveinn, they have it listed as the "salvimar v pro sling speargun" but its the v-pro/voodoo pro, same thing, so its the plastic trigger mech

      @@DivingSports I have a question. Should I buy an extra shaft with the gun? I was wondering about the durability of the shaft.

    Questions, how do I install a reel on the Salvimar metal? Do I have to remove the handle?

    • @SHUOZY
      @SHUOZY Před 2 lety +1

      No you don’t have to remove the handle. Almost all spear guns have a rail on the bottom of them infront of the actual trigger and handle mechs. Though for your salvimar metal, it should already have a reel on it. If not then make sure to buy the correct reel for the correct reel mount. And if anything just go to a speargun shop and ask them for a reel that can fit your gun.

    I have a 125.Salvimar metal speargun ..I was wondering what's the band size?.

    • @SHUOZY
      @SHUOZY Před 2 lety

      If you take it to a shop they’ll tell you which bands to get for which length but if not then Google how to find the correct band size for your length because it takes a tiny bit of math to figure it out

    What do you recommend, this gun or the cressi Cherokee fast

    • @DivingSports
      @DivingSports  Před 2 lety +1

      I haven't seen the Cherokee in person but looking online, they look similar spec wise. Go to your local shop and see which one feels better in your hand :)

    Hi, what is the name of the tool that you remove a stuck shaft from the reef?

    • @SHUOZY
      @SHUOZY Před 2 lety +1

      Honestly bro i got my shaft stuck in reef alottttt over the 9 years of me spearfishing. Lot of the time it should come out if you wiggle and pull hard enough, it can damage your flipper tho, luckily I never damaged mines lol. But I 100% it comes out fairly easy with some strength and wiggling or turning
