"Before he left for Russia again, he posted: ‘I’m ready to go now, bags packed. I just hope the British police don’t arrest me and make something up or twist things to incriminate me on something that does not exist.’
He was arrested upon arrival at Manchester Airport, but was still allowed to fly to Moscow through Istanbul. Stimson’s father Martin, 76, is a folk singer and former town councillor who initially supported his son in 2017, before later disowning him.
Martin said of his mercenary son: ‘I’ve cut him off. Before I cut him off he was in Moscow. I’ve been looking after Ben on and off for years and years. He’s on his own now. He’s 48 now, he can do what he wants." ‘He’s been a constant worry. I want a bit of peace at my age. You never know what he’ll do next.’"

"The 37-year-old (Aiden Minnis), a former member of the far-right National Front with a conviction for a racist attack, has been disowned by his Wiltshire-based family. A family member said his mother Tina, from Chippenham, Wiltshire, was not even aware her son was fighting on the front line.
'She has nothing to do with him, she has disowned him and they do not speak,' said the family friend. 'I don't think she will ever want to talk about him. She wants nothing to do with him and they have not spoken or had contact for years.'"

Every country has its share of attention seekers and disaffected citizens.

It is like those girls you hesr about joining the IS back in the days to marry a splendid Dschihad soldier... only to return years after and regretting it. Too bad they aren't allowed back into their home country.

One of them "Shamima Begum" tried to get back several times but was denied because in her first TV interview she didn't show any remorse and even said she didn't regret joining isis. Later on she tried changing her attitude and pretending she regretted everything and playing the victim card but nobody in the UK is buying it. I can't stand people who support terrorism (isis or russia). I think they should change the law in my country so they're able to lock these people up if they show any support to terrroist states like russia, isis or hamas.
They're all a danger to society.

Absolutely, terrorism isn't a vague concept; it's outlined in the UN charter, which all nations have endorsed.
In theory, backing Russian aggression should absolutely align with supporting terrorism and actions should be taken by governments.
I recall an incident in Germany two years ago when Ukrainian refugees arrived at a Berlin train station, only to be met by hundreds of Russian German nationalists with banners and cars, intimidating them shouting there'd be no save place for them.
It was heartbreaking to see the fear in the children's eyes, having fled from Russians only to encounter hostility in another supposedly safe country.
I don't know your stance on Israel, but they did even more to children within 3 months than Russia in their 3 years of war. Should Israel therefore be also called a terrorist state? I wonder.

These are the types of 'losers in life' that the kremiln loves. I hope their parents are left alone.
    They will be 🌻🌻very soon.

They've both been dissowned by their families. I think most people will understand to leave them alone as they have no involvement in what their grown up son's have done. The russians will certainly use them as cannon fodder soon but if not they'll both be spending the rest of their life in prison if they ever return here.

Reminds me of the "losers in life" recruited by the US government every time they fail to take over another country. How did Afghanistan work out again?

Years of heroin and crack ruins the mind, they probably think the Irish flag is British.
