Had a similar experience Bill but in reverse lol A few years back i was out with my Dad in one of his then local drinking dens on Stanley Road in a pub called "The Lighthouse" sadly no longer open today 😮💨 I lost my Wallet containing all my credit cards ,debit cards, HGV Licences and a bunch of cash roughly £80.00 in notes! Goes the Bog in the pub obviously lost the wallet did not know at the time , sat down with Dad about 15 minutes later , someone on the PA system shouts (a band was playing) is there a Paul Williams in the Pub. Goes the bar and a barman hands me my wallet and says a local has just found this is this yours, what's your home address? Gives me the wallet and guess what every thing including the cash was still inside! Liverpool’s biggest asset is and will always be its People, we just need to remind each other that FACT from time to time............................................🤔🤔🤔🤔
What goes around comes around and you get good karma back when you do something like that its pure honesty because nobody would ever know but you. Karma can be a biaatchhh so i always remember that lol

When I was going to my mates in Walton not long ago, some lad left an iPhone 15 and wallet next to me when he was getting off the bus. I thought at first is right!! However, I thought in my head if that was me I would be gutted. So I jumped off the bus and chased after him. Plus to add to that the cctv on the bus would have gripped me. Maybe about ten years ago I would have put it in my pocket, and attempted to flog the phone. However, when I have stuff nicked before, it is a pain in the arse.
I think it’s just a case of empathy, if you lost something you would want it back. I remember a friend finding a wallet in a phone box…he proceeded to pocket the money and leave the wallet..I was dumbfounded. I think it’s how you’re brought up morally. Kudos for returning the card, it shows integrity.

It's scary now how you can find a wallet and scan the card and get up to £90 on it it a bad idea to have the contactless on your card lost mine once I don't even smoke lol and my card had bought loads off packets off tabbaco lol but we're funny at the time
My house got bust but I wasn’t their but me poor mum was so they left and they dropped a piece of paper and it had all the dealers names addresses stash houses you name it gave it to my solicitor before I went to hand myself in and when I did they had no clue why I was their and let me go was mad brother 😂😂😂

I got done years ago and the old bill searched my housr and found a load of money, when i read the search receipt it only mentioned the main bit but not a separate bit so i thought at least they didn't find that. When i got out the cell's i got home to find everything gone, the thieving cnuts had a nice little touch with that so id be very tempted to have the 20 away 😂
