In my opinion Kate ended up becoming quite dependent on Harry’s company, he became a surrogate husband /father to Kate before hemet Meghan. Kate and Harry May have become too close too each other after all they are mere humans and being in each other’s company would make it easy to fall in love.

I remember an interview years back that Prince William gave, he was saying that his brother, Prince Harry was lucky because he didn't have the World on his shoulders like he did. He further explained that Harry had room to just live and be without as much scrutiny because he wasn't next in line to be King. So I think Prince William was really forced to be on the down-low with his antics, but Harry on the other hand could cross the lines at times without hiding it.
