I met Dana about 12 years ago in Miami, we were staying at the same hotel. I was in the pool with my wife and he was with his girlfriend. I waved at him and he waved me over we talked for a good hour and a half. I finally had to excuse myself as I felt bad about taking up all his time. The funny thing about it was we talked about the UFC a bit and how he was trying to get it in Toronto Canada at the time (where I live) as Fighting sports at the time where illegal. But 90% of the conversation was him asking me about myself and my life. He was a very nice and genuine guy. Not to mention the waiter came and asked me who he was after as he had left him an $800 tip.

I dropped out of college. Worked at a junkyard for 4 years and hated my life. I was too smart for that. So every single day after work I came home and studied and taught my self everything about electronic Engineering. 4 long hard years until I finally had the balls to use my new skill. I now am a full time electronic engineer. Self taught. No help whatsoever. And it's the proudest accomplishment of my entire life. I'm happy now. Real happiness. The kind of happiness that makes you feel excited about the next day when you go to sleep. The kind of happiness when you wake up with tons of energy and a smile on your face. The kind of happiness that makes work fun. I cant stress enough that hard work and perseverance is going to be your number 1 weapon to success and happiness. There have been so many times where I've been stuck for weeks on trying to figure out certain aspects of electronics. But perseverance helped me push through those hard times. This made me who I am today and now I want to share these skills with the world. Anyone can do anything. That's not bullshit. It's real. I'm living proof of that. Thank God for this beautiful life.

Decent guy. Good speech. Good work ethic. However... Right place and right time. Pure luck. All billionaires are the ones that have accomplished through pure luck. That's just the way of the world. I've been knocked down so many times but fought my way back up each time. I'm now 47. I've just never had that luck part. For every millionaire or billionaire, there are hundreds if not thousands of people doing or trying to do the exact same thing.... But they have not experienced the luck part.
Just love what you do and even if you don't meet the expectations but at the end of the day you'll be happy for real and that's the ultimate price.
The hardest part of progress is motivation, and motivation is thwarted by not being able to know if your hard work on something will even pay off, but it does, even if it doesn't pay off directly to the thing you were shooting for, you are more skilled, more knowledgeable, more valuable for any and all things that come in the future. Learn learn learn, small steps every day, most people don't keep learning little things every day which is why some succeed and some don't, if you work on yourself just 10% harder than the average person each year, how far ahead will you be in 5 years? 10 years? You'll be so far ahead most will never catch up.

If there's one thing you can say about Dana that man's got passion. You can have all the ifs ands and buts cuz if you don't have the passion and the motivation to keep doing your dream you will never know the meaning or the reward of what true success is. True success isn't the money that you receive it's not the Acura lights that you get from what you achieved when it comes to Rewards metals and trophies cuz all that is plastic and Metal. But it's the knowing that you're doing what you're passionate about the being able to help others through the process and the love that you have for what it is that you are succeeding in. And every time you lay your head on the pillow at night time you can either think about the successes that you achieved or the failures that you didn't fight for. When times got rough you see I'm a Christian it also believe in self-preservation and self motivation and doing what you can with the gifts that God has given you. If the gifts of God is giving you is being a janitor you better be a damn good janitor. If it's a Fortune 500 typhoon that can help others and do great things you better be a good one. You better put as much dedication in to that is someone that is putting in the hard work for the janitor job that they are doing. Because one day you might be working for that person. And one day when you get to where you going you might see that person and you can tell them but you are a hard worker and I'm glad that you're successful and I'm glad I can be as successful and I strive to do this each and every day I wake up and I hope to be as good as you. And another way of being successful is being able to help the ones that are working as hard as they can not as a hand out that is a hand up. As a mentor and as a fellow believer in what it takes to work hard what's a Blood Sweat and Tears for the dreams that you have been successful in or are still fighting for. Just keep fighting pushing forward and when your Downs try to get you down use them as a way of learning evolving and getting to the success that you're looking for. And then when you get there keep looking for a way to be more passionate about something. That's why I truly believe that there is a God above because if we didn't have the passion and did the will two survive and thrive. I believe that we are made in His image and I believe that we can be successful in any way anybody can come in anybody can see the love and the reward of being successful in faith. It's something that can bring you through and make you better prepared to work harder when you're dealing with the Blood Sweat and Tears. Because when you're down when you've lost someone you loved and when you feel like you can't get back up again that's when you either see that you have the faith to get through it are you have the fear it will motivate you in the long run to get better. And that's where faith comes in faith is seeing without believing and knowing that you are capable of getting through something even though you don't feel it deep down in your spirit or at all there's a little spectacle of Faith and Hope that can pull you through the darkest times and it's a beacon of light that will not break. And that's the faith God and the Lord Jesus in my opinion. What's your dedication what's your faith and what's your motivation to keep moving forward. That's where your heart and your truth lie and that's where you're meant to be in your life I love you all please be blessed.

Exactly 2 and half years ago I watched this video and week after I left my job since then I changed 3 4 jobs keep watching video keep leaving the jobs I didn't like finally I opened my own business very small and now I am on progress living easy life as a boss. Somrtime what come across on your way can make a change this video did to mine. Motivation is very important no matter where you get it from
I quit my job so I can chest my dreams but up till now am still jobless and homeless am even hopeless ever since I listen to this speech my life has never been the same again good speech but not for everybody
