Thank you!!
Came here to say this.
It’s so cool you got this opportunity, you deserve it Waydot!
Thanks so much :)
I like watching (technically listening to) your Review of ESO while I work so I've watched it a couple of times, and now this one comes out? Amazing!
I hope you make more videos about ESO cuz it's my favorite game.
of course. How many IRL golds Bethesda donated you for such stupid comments ?
@@rofo2107kid.
@@rofo2107Oh shut up
@@rofo2107 That has to be the dumbest comment anyone has ever made. Just because someone loves a game you think it's stupid? What a sad person you are. You should get a friend.
I started 8 days ago on console... 50 hours game time deep and im in love. Its so easy to understand and learn the game.
A lot of ppl complain about the combat but I think it's pretty alright. The problem for me is the huge convenience of the subscription, and having to buy an expansion every year
Buy subscription. Play the DLCs and when you get enough crowns just buy the ones you need to keep playing
Yea we know gamers who allways wants everything for free. Cheap gamers like U destroying the gaming industry
Imo, combat makes everything for the game.
-Warframe
-Gw2
-Souls games/Bloodborne
-Monster Hunter series
-Darktide/Helldivers2
These games are top in my list, combat is it for me.
Then there’s the lower tier (not bad per se, but great games still):
-FFXIV (amazing splash graphics and a good mmo when I’m burned out of warframe/gw2)
-BG3 (same as ffxiv)
-Pokemon/Zelda games (great chill game to pass time when burned out)
Edit: Adding the fact that I played ESO… I just cant find the appeal for me, combats is stiffy, and I just feel like it’s too much to play on top of ffxiv.
I see it has supporting the game and the voice actors we love that put so much love into their work that is mostly ignored or under acknowledged
Im with you that the combat is okay but definitely takes heavy inspiration from how they did combat for their single player games. This isn't to say they should copy how most mmo's do their combat which is fast with long rotations. I just feel like they could still improve the existing combat system but then that might mean a new game entirely.
Congrats on your engagement! im actually jumping into ESO bc of your vid on it! Love your content
Broo congratulations your awesome. No joke your MMO reviews are S+ plus tier content. Keep it up!
Man you deserve so many more eyes on your content! Keep up the excellent work brother!
I appreciate the kind words man!
this was really well done! and super helpful!
Thanks man it was a pleasure to meet you!
thank you for all your reviews I recently got into MMOs and you really help narrow it down. Keep up the great content and congrats
Wow that's amazing. I enjoyed your first video on eso earlier today. So awesome that you were part of this event soon after. Enjoying your content and delivery
Nice! Good timing 👌
Today was the first time I saw a video of yours. Thanks to the algorithm. But congratulations on your success, your engagement. You have a subscriber in me
so great seeing your channel grow Waydot o/ hope for more mmo content!!
congrats and really enjoy watching your videos they're amazing
Great video, congrats on your engagement 🎉🔥💯
Based on your video about ESO I started playing. It's almost overwhelming how much there is to do but I am enjoying it.
How much bugs are there...and everywhere.
@@rofo2107 I haven't come across any bugs so far with about 50 hours in.
@@dmacarthur5356ignore him. The kids an air head.
Enjoy the game. I'm 50 hours in also! It's easy to learn in time. Just look into guides and read up on eso wiki
Cool stuff you got to experience, good for ya mate!
I love this game! Keep posting ESO content, brother 👍
Aww, congratulations! I wish you and your soulmate long and happy years together!
Congratulations on the engagement!
Thinking of coming back playing ESO, SWTOR is just dead on me right now like 1 foot in the grave.
same brother,
My dad and I have been playing ESO together. I’m in college across the US so this time with him means the world to me. I only got into this game because of your original vid, so thank you so much for introducing me to this beautiful expansive world I can explore with my dad
That's awesome man. I remember when i was younger i went to spend a summer with my grandparents and my dad sent me with the og 7 disk (i think) copy of WoW that we had.
I downloaded it on their computer and thats how we were able to chat while I was away
Thanks for sharing dude and i hope you guys keep having a blast.
Love the videos man you are severally underated
Congrats 🖤
Been watching all your stuff since your start with RS3. This is all so well deserved!
Thanks so much man I appreciate the long term support :)
I was always on and off with eso since it felt more like an elder scrolls game in an mmo setting than an actual mmo so i couldnt properly comprehend the mechanics. But I always knew that ESO was a special gem that given time would be really fun. So coming to it this year and trying to open my eyes away from bias I am enjoying it a bit more 👌 still much to learn but i really hope i can add this to one of my staple mmo's.
I really like the ESO's world. There's something in it that's so special. You know despite it being made from an outdated engine the team really did a good job making it feels alive and immersive.
ESO was my first MMO. I've played for around 5 years now. Still a place I call home
Congradulations on your engagment!!!!!!
thank you so much :)
thanks for the review gonna give the game a try
Kachow
I’m new to ESO. So far I’m liking it
Keep playing, it gets even better later ✌️
horse is slow as hell, inventory bag is exploding and the funny part is that you will grind dungeons for better gear forever... just to find out that studio changed all rules and your gear is useless.
Same. 50 hours gametime deep and I'm loving it. Cp 190 and started to get my build together.
@@rofo2107horse is slow because you have to go to the stables once a day to upgrade its speed.
Don't comment on shit when you haven't put the time in to learn it. Mong.
woooah grats guys with proposing!
Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on DC Universe Online 😄
can u make a vid about what mmo new players should play? i’ve never played an mmo (other than about of maple story) and i want to try one preferably as f2p as possible
I actually kind of like this idea, i might actually make that video..
That being said as a never played an mmo before player looking for a f2p game i would most heavily recommend: guild wars 2. its free to play the entire base game (LOTS of content) but optional to spend more later on. Its pretty well populated with lots of people available to help new players, and its a really intuitive game you learn how it works pretty easily as you continue to play.
That guy in the yellow hoodie is EXTREMELY hot ;) Glad you had such a good time mate, pleasure hanging out with you as per usual
TRUE. Thanks again for showing us around man, until next time!
LETS GO WAYGOAT!
Are you ever going back to RuneScape
My friend and I get the urge to play sometimes, but with no servers for Oceania or Asia we cannot play without a stupid amount of latency. This is a big company with clearly enough players and money to keep content rolling out annually but will not provide a server for us because of "lack of players", which is ironic because the lack of a server is the only reason we will not play. Unfortunate.
yoo Waydot! as i can see you are not doing so much of Runescape content so bc of that i want to ask you to try Silkroad Online 2002 mmorpg Origin Online private server or Opal private server for fastest experience. this game has very unique combat feature, never seen such thing in any game and if you need some tips before going in i can give some! ^^
ofc you can try official JoyMax servers i think they still online
This would be my main game if it had difficulty settings of some sort like LOTRO, and just SLIGHTLY better combat even. I am one of the ones who played launch and heavily disliked One Tamriel
when more lost ark is goei good now
I’m still hoping one day for cross progression. If Apex did it ESO can lol
I wish they made the game look like dragon dogma 2
Not relevant to ESO but do you hace any plans for a review for ffxiv? Would be an interesting watch!
Absolutely at some point in the future, I'm not quite sure when as I want to dedicate a lot of time to that game when i finally try it out.
@Waydots Nice! Yeah the downside with the start is it can be pretty slow and boring to get going but the pve content is pretty good once you're past the hurdles.
Yes, there was a better time, Beta and 2015-2017 when PvP was decent...
game desperately needs an overland difficulty slider for group questing
which will introduce even more bugs...
@@rofo2107 nah, LOTRO does it fine, just do a flat debuff/buff to the player. Only effects those who take the optional difficulty
If only the game was some-what challenging
This isn't a review video what the hell! 6 Minutes!? I NEED CONTENT
Listen here, Hudy.. Next week brother. I got you.
Xdd
Way better than that boring ass game in gw2, explore here, do that same boring quest 100 times, watch that cut scene that looks like it was made in 1997.
Eso quests are not much better. Find 14 wayshrines in each zone, hidden on the worst rocks, under bridges, un deep caverns which take 15 minutes to ride there... or buy them in crownstore lol.
@@rofo2107 Gw2 has micro transactions too? Buy bag space, bank space, outfits…
At least eso has an interesting story with good combat, and looks pretty not like that lame ass Gw2 cesspool of a game. Shit looks like it was made for an Nintendo 64
If only Bethesda would fix the clunky combat,,
to be honest, Bethesda design of the game is amazing, This part of the game is pretty good. It is Zenimax part that sucks. Sets, balancing, combat system, stability of the online infrastructure, pretty everything except of the design is miserabke. Oh yes. And the monetization and crownstore and looting boxes gambling.
@@rofo2107 Fair enough. Ill give it another go the next days but the combat system always is a huge turn off sadly.
Oh yes, Bethesda invited you and paid you money to give them good review. But TESO game is infested with bugs. Nothing feels normally in the game. Overland mobs are so easy that they can be one-hitted. Quests are boring and repeating. Even 10th years celebration event is boring. Players are criticizing it on TESO official Forum, which is heavily redacted by the way. I hope this game finally dies and makes some room for good Skyrim looking game, which is not predatory and infested by bugs. Jeez. TESO is 10 years old game and it feels as some beta testing version without any direction, any quality and terrible PVP. And they ask for a lot of money, it is not just basic game and expansions, but they monetized storage, riding speed, DLC content and housing to the absurd levels. Not mentioning crown crates. It is predatory gambling in crystal clear form.
God damn you are one serious hater kid.
Maybe go and play wow with that toxic mentality
play lost ark and more new world
lol the updates are not when we least expect it 😂 we all know they eventually nerf all characters and armor for stupid reasons then buff them back up, they need to make up there dam mind and leave the characters alone and then we request them to fix bugs and glitches that ruin the game and what do we get a dungeon?. By the way don’t get too used to the new skills when they are out they will nerf them all till they are absolutely useless and oh I forgot welcome to eso where everything you like will get killed by the nerf gods 😂🤣 have fun on the game
Terrible monetization, in-game rewards don't compare to the store, Combat is floaty, spammy and impact-less. Animations need a visual upgrade, especially running and mounts. Impossible to play without the subscription because of the craft bag. And so much more. If you want a mmo that respects your time and money, give Guild Wars 2 a go.
facts
No thanks this expansions are completely tiring me out
It's a complete fail p2w combat abilities locked behind a pay wall zos mite as well lock cp behind a pay wall and skill lines😂😂 😂
I couldn't even log in to the game last week. Spent hours trying but couldn't get passed the log in screen. One of the biggest game companies in the world can't fix a log in system email access code issue 10 years in to the game. What a load of trash.
$2b made btw. absolute bonkers xD
Sounds like a you problem, never happened to me
@@GlitchedNomad Sounds like a they just lost a paying customer problem. I'll be over here playing the games i bought instead, Helldivers and Stellar Blade.
The game is terrible. I’ve been playing it for a while.
🤣🤣
@@Waydots it takes 2 month to learn at least basic riding skills. Or invest hundreds USD. The game is unfriendly and predatory. And for the beginners it is probably the worst game on the market as for as quality/price ratio.
@@rofo2107bro is a professional hater
No it isn't
@@rofo2107Oh please 🤦🏽♀️
I find myself in situation i want to play mmorpg but can't find anything.. My most time spent in mmorpg's was in Lineage 2 Interlude era, played some lotro, and now playing WOW but one thing is missing in wow is communication with other people, i already purchased 3 subscriptions so in that time i should have met some people but it feels like single player game, maybe because it's retail i don't know, i remember how in Lineage 2 era people were communicating one couldn't level without each other now it's all solo and going to fast.. i hope some day we will get worthy mmorpg to play everyone, good day!
