Is this a "joke"? Uh sory. I mean a "coke". Ups, "Choke" :)
Perfect explanation ..thanks a lot..really made simple a complex subject....
Thanks for the upload. I came across this listed deep in search results for uploads about DC ripple port, or coupled magnetics filters. I'm simply curious about the subject as a hobbyist. I'm currently working on a linear bench PSU with the typically oversized filter capacitor. I should be looking for active in-rush current limiting circuits right now, but I came across a couple of scientific papers about ripple port filters and coupled magnetics ripple filters. Both papers are well beyond my current math skills. I don't see any information on CZcams about this type of application. This may be due to my limited layman's search phrasing, or it may be a good talking point for someone to cover academically. One of the papers I came across tried to summarize the entire academic history from 1930 to present, and relate the diverse range of potential applications within any type of DC power filtering circuit topology. I believe it would be really helpful if someone demonstrated such things practically as they apply to a traditional AC mains isolation transformer and rectifier circuit and DC converter circuit.
Before typing this, I skimmed through your uploads list and didn't notice anything related. I apologize if I missed something. You have several uploads I need to watch that are relevant to my interests though.
Thanks again.
