When the E-bike is powered up you can cycle through the max speed, avg speed, battery voltage and system power on timer. . Hold down the mode and up arrow at the same time for three seconds. and repeat till you see what you want to see.
My display was reading nearly 100km/hour when I was going 25 mph according to phone GPS. I got into the speed sensor setting and dialed it from 47 to 33. It got worse. I then put it all the way up to 99 - and the speed sensor became accurate! This allowed me get my 750 watt motor up to almost 33mph. I gained 7 mph and now have an accurate speedometer thanks to this video. Don't be afraid to adjust the speed sensor if you know it's not working. I suspect that they are throttled down like that to ensure that speed limiters stay well under the legal limit.
I has the same issue, my bike is 29er, to adjust the speed I change wheel size setting to 23" and the speed is accurate.

Hi, i read somewhere that you shouldn't take the rim size of the wheel but measure the total wheel diameter with tire and use that as wheel size. Regards
Hi Augustine, it’s been 3 years and wanted to know your experience updated upon your SW900 LCD Display. I have ordered 2 ebike 12000w with the SW900 LCD Display. I herd there’s a new model ukc1 led color display that just came out not to long ago. But yeah I seen good and bad reviews of sw900, what’s your experience feedback on it ? Is it all weather proof ?

wish there was a seperate cruise button. Feels like 5 seconds of solid down button pressing for cruise is a headache.
thanks i`m liking your ebike videos! what you say about p05 is differant in my manual though, it says "gear number , maybe 3,5,9" but when i check the sw900a settings on the bike po5 it only has options for 0, 1,2 i`m not sure if thats confusing enough.

Trying to figure out what I consider a problem: My power assist on a 48V 500W geared rear hub motor eBike I recently purchased in Costa Rica : My new eBike takes off at almost full power in PAS #1 (a bit dangerours to lend out on my funcky dirt road), while the watts meter jumps between 750+W to 200 W. The seller informed me after my paypal purchase with delivery, and then expression of concern; that my eBike was modified for Costa Rica and hills, and I could get by on PAS 0, and just use the throttle. My recent review of settings reveal
(P14) Max Amps was set to 22, which is produces twice the watt rating for a 48V 500W motor. I think that does give the motor more power; & testing on hills has not heated up the motor or 22 amp max controller to my finger touch. I hope experimenting with my settings will get me back to normal PAS modes and a properly working watt meter. ... I DO NOT Appreciate this unexpectedly new learning curve. I trusted the shop I purchased from to dial in everything before shipping, and inherited some loose ends to chase down. Still looks like a decent deal for the price, but wondering about longevity at 48 V x 22 AMPS = 1056 WATTS on 500 Watt motor.
I have the same problem. I don't know the numbers. But my 48v 500w foldable takes off like a banshee when I'm in 1st gear and pas1. No way i can pedal fast enough.

I have the 750/1500w kit with the controller built into the hub. I haven't ridden it yet, but am excited to as soon as this rain stops in Chicago.

Hi! Question about the sw900. I just picked up a bike with this system, but when I set P10 (pas) to 0 for pedal assist only it will still give me throttle option. I want this of because in my country it's illegal to use..
Any clue as to why it won't change?
I set P14 Max Peak Amp to 15 but when I ride up a steep hill with my display on Current, the Current goes up to 33! Why is the actual current exceeding my limit setting on P14? please help
i got an ecotric folding fat tire and there are no 13-15 options on the new display everything else seems the same.

P15 is you voltage cut off setting. you can not change it, set at the factory.

Also the P14 setting is the max amps current setting. How ever on the newer SW900 this is automatically set by the battery voltage, motor and controller. so setting this to anything will not change the auto setting.
I am stuck with error 10 on my ebike display
@@biggdogg5323 the error code 10 is a communication error. did you try to connect a 12v headlight to your setup? The headlight connector puts out the battery voltage. So it will burn out part of the sw900 motherboard causing a error 10 code. It you didn't try a 12v head light than it is caused by a bad connection or something not connected right.

what should my speed measuring magnet be if I have a 48v 3000w? any ideas, please
You kind of have to ride around, and compare to phone GPS to see how accurate your speedometer is reading out. My bike was reading 100 km/hour when it was only going about 25 mph. I had to adjust the speed measuring from 46 all the way up to 99. This opened up the top end quite a bit.
I change something on this now it says I'm going 175 km in speed when I'm going about 32 km not sure what I done

This helped me out but I still have a problem. The throttle tops out at 300watts and 12mph but the PAS gives me max 1500watts and top speed. Any ideas? Thanks

My new bike in pas 1 outruns the pedals while in 1st gear. It just takes off up to 10mph faster than i can pedal. Bike is a 7 speed. Any suggestions on how to match ratio better?
Go to setting P5 and change it to 2. This will give you 9 levels of pedal assist and it breaks the pedal assist power into 10% of your total power per pas level...ie pas 1 = 10% pas 2 = 20% all the way up to pas 9 = 100%
@@rkadster7008 I went to P5, but it only offered 03 and 05. I switched it to 03 modes and it worked! I'm perplexed why it worked because it should have divided the speed in 3rds from 0 to 30 correct? Anyway, it no longer is jerky and is slower in p1. I'm confused, but happy. Thanks for dropping me off in the neighborhood! I found it
Thomas Therrell Yeah, and the 05 splits the power into 5ths. The up side is it’s fine tuned and gives you more precise control, the down side is you have to hit the pas up and down button more frequently. If you have a 48 volt 750 to 1,000 watt e-bike I’d say 3 is all you need though.
What is the best setting for a 52 volt battery?
(48 and 60 are the nearest available)
Good question… either is not ideal of course. However, if you want to under estimate the battery capacity, the use 48V; conversely, use 60V if you want to over-estimate it. Safest is to set it to 48V… good luck.

Please help. My mileage is not accurate. I have the proper wheel size of 26 inch. But it says i went 1 mile when i only went 3/4 mile. How do i correct this ?

P10 works constantly on mine both pas and throttle whatever the setting so had to unplig the pas

@@ShiftLikeAlex Cruise control sensor I believe. Error 10# seems to be caused by a missing sensor.
They are a white and brown wires Connection for your front light

I did what you said and now every time I approve the edit I can not give gas with the gas knob, just that I turn off the battery and then turn on the battery then the gas knob starts. How I fix it?

When I go into the menu on the SW900 I only get 9 options, it goes 1 through 8 and then 16 ? So where are the rest of the options ?
I discovered the sw900 has different version each year produced I have 2 bikes that are different. Also the speed controller makes a difference as far as what options actually work on the sw900. Hope this helps as I had to keep messaging the seller about mine

I bought the bike last year 750w hub motor and at first the bike had massive torque but after just one month the power went away and i think it's the battery but I wanted to try settings in the controller first. I want that torque back badly
