Our last day travelling Lamu was a blast!
We went back to the Sand dunes of Shela, explored the beautiful town of Lamu, rode donkeys, kayaked though gorgeous mangroves and ended our day with a bonfire!

My cousin and I traveled to Lamu from Nairobi in 1973. We took a Peogeot 504 Station Wagon shared taxi from Nairobi to Mombasa and then took a bus via Malindi. We stayed in a family owned hotel in town. Lamu is the best place I have ever been to. For some reason I just dont remember the donkeys although even then motor vehicles were not allowed on the island. There were huge numbers of timber logs floating in the water. Kenya, Lamu included, has made enormous progress. Looks better than ever! God bless you all!
that road trip mustve been so amazing! a lot has definitely changed. Motorbikes weren't allowed until very recently!
I’ve ridden a horse and a lamu but not a donkey. Looks like a real treat in Kenya. I would do it for sure

We've always wanted to visit Lamu and this is making us want it even more. The experience looks amazing. Also, I guess it's my first time seeing a person petting a donkey. Your new room is amazing and so huge. Kayaking looks like so much fun. It's also so scenic there.

Why don't you make your own videos of Mogadishu or Kismayu, instead of claiming Kenya. Lamu is the start of Swahili settlements that end in Sofala Mozabique. Fix your country and tourists will come.

That's a beautiful room, that's luxury for $1500 a night, is it all inclusive? Singh...ukiuliza sista Kama amebadilisha nguo na anakaa poa, tupa ka compliment (it's free), wacha stori na (privilege).
