I also find it humorous that they say clip less body mount system yet you undo 4 clips to release It 💁♂️😂
It is one of our favorites as well. Any, funny enough, we thought the same thing about the clips however, as we're sure you know, they're referring to body clips, or lack thereof. But it is an amazing truck!

Thanks. For an out-of-the-box rig, it’s really nice. A grippier set of tires are all we think this truck needs to really elevate it!

Awesome truck i almost bought this one but the blacked out windows turned me away i hope traxxas clears those windows up on their next one im a scale and trail guy so i like an interior and a driver in em awesome review man !
100% agree. The blacked out windows are a bummer, however we're sure they'll be releasing a clear body set soon. Might have to pick one of those up - would be so much better with clear windows.

Throttle trim is not the cruise control. Cruise is the red button on top. 🤓
Yes you are correct. Accelerate to your desired speed and press the Set button. Cruise Control activated!! Thanks for catching that!
Do the wheels rub on the body in full flex and steered a little??
A tick, but not bad - not like some of the other rigs out there. Though, with a good set of grippy tires, it will probably hit a little more during full flex.
Mine rub a bit but it’s not bad.
What switch position is rears unlocked?
Sorry, not sure. The manual that comes with the truck should explain all the switch settings.
All the way forward locks all. Can't lock just the rear.
Is it bad to switch gears without stopping???
Nope. The transmission is set up in such a way that you can continue to drive while switching gears!

100% agreed. That was one of our only gripes about this rig.
Every r/c transmitter has the "cruise " function

@@craetz4 cruise deactivates when you hit the brake, so it's similar but not the same.
He said you could change the speed while on the Fly that is definitely a No-No even Traxxas does not recommend this something will definitely break shifting gears on the Fly the first time I shifted from low to high well it wasn't a good thing
You are correct. What I meant by 'on the fly' was to do it from the transmitter. But yes, you should come to a complete stop prior to doing so.
Painted windows are a deal breaker for me.!

While we agree to some extent, this rig is such a joy to drive that we'll let this one slip by. BUT, we do feel with how beautiful this truck is, Traxxas should really take that extra step and make the windows transparent!

Have you tried the Yikong/Rebel RC/Absima rigs, they're also very good rigs, I have the 1/10 Jeep & the 1/8 Bronco... I highly recommend them.!
My Jeep is over 3 years old, I've used & abused it a LOT.. & it's still 90% original (excluding motor/esc/servo), my 1/8 Bronco is a year old has had the same kind of use & is 99% original, I've just recently upgraded the servo.
It runs 4S & is awesome to drive.!
They make very good rigs.!!
You can also usually pick either the 1/8 Jeep or Bronco for less than the price of a TRX4, they have all the same features plus a fully working light kit & a fully interior.!!
If you haven't already, give them a go, you won't regret it.!
