As someone who originally learned a lot of production technique in recording studios with big, hardware mixing consoles I love that you highlighted the idea of using EQ on most if not all tracks. Mixing desks have built in EQ on every single channel and we used them.

Cool tutorial , I do high pass and subtractive EQ primarily , but i leave the additive EQ (the color EQ as i like to call it) to iZotope Neutron Plugin, it listen to the selected track in the entirety of mix and accordingly adjusts the EQ such that it fits in the mix. Its more of a time saving measure, the iZotope bundle itself should I say !

Or u can use a KNOB EQ for additive EQ if u don't wanna mess up the spacing

Everything sounds Good but I would prefer you to upload the frequency response chart of every musical instrument . That gives a clear picture to someone who is new in this field . When you are teaching for a new technician or music producer . You have to make them clear presentations .
