This guy was an absolute character! This has to be my new favorite review.
my favorite part is how he sits so close to david like they're dating or something
My favorite part is how he keeps a Tupperware full of Hot Wheels in the truck to play in the Game of Life carpets lmao
What in the meth enabling are you talking about?
@@murrijuana2842 Nothing wrong with partaking in a little high speed chicken feed from time to time.
@@dookiebooger9967 love the name 😂 thats a new one for me
This is the kind of build us ‘regular’ guys who don’t have trust funds. You can usually tell us from others by the judicious use of Maxpeeding products and zip ties and straps holding down any and everything lol. Andy Damage, you are a god damn inspiration 😢to us poor shade tree wrenchers 😂
💜🤘
@@andy_damage What he said! Rock on Brother 🤘
Hell yeah he is I have a shitbox 95 accord that I love too much to sell but am too poor to restore so I'm gonna ratrod it and have "too poor to restore" as a window sticker on it and my 94 ranger will be my reliable daily
trust funds aren’t that common n typically comes after a guan dies TV stereotypes aren’t real
@@jabari189684 I’m not talking about stuff on tv. There are tons of people out there who are completely funded by ‘old’ money. Multigenerational wealth is way more common than you think. Btw I don’t base anything I talk about on things I see on tv lol. First I haven’t watched tv in over ten years secondly it’s all bullshit 😆
In a world where pristine, SEMA-worthy builds sweep through the net and become attention, here’s a rare peek into the “bit of everything” build. Only thing I wish this one has to complete the build would be an underglow.
Sick truck, thanks for the features!
it has underglow, check the rear end, there's the led stripe
@@juancitobentos6351 it's done much cleaner now lmao
@@juancitobentos6351 NO WAY, I missed that one out! Good catch!
Now the truck’s perfect in my eyes.
True. Even though more than half of the sema builds don't run lol
Pristine sema builds? So many sema builds are absolute junk lol
More mini trucks please ❤
MOAR MINI TRUCKS
Yes please
More......MORE........
more minis!
Heck yeah!
Glad Andy is getting recognition! Discovered him just last week after the owner of FuelTech blew him up on social media because he had such a genuine reaction to a Brazilian car at a cars and coffee. Real wholesome guy!
Well, I've certainly never been called wholesome before! But I'll happily take it. Thanks dude 💜
Owhh that was him? Haha 😆
Do you have a link?

Crazy I saw that review recently
No lie, these are my favorite builds. It's a mash up of knowledge, attitude, determination, and a whole lot of creativity. Personally I don't care what your budget is but I think something like this always has a place in a gearhead's collection. Mad props to Andy for the sick ride!
It’s so cool to see that more ppl are taking these first Gen S10/Sonoma, Ford Rangers, Dodge Dakota, Nissan Hardbody, Mazda B2200, Mitsubishi Mighty-Max, and 80’s-90’s Toyota Pickups turning them into budget project trucks 👏🏽
I just got a 92 Sonoma a couple days ago. Got a new diff so both rear wheels spin and its lowerer
@@Nfftp nice
@@jacobasuncion3132 thanks
@@Nfftp you mean s15 because not until 1994 gmc called it Sonoma. just saying
I'm surprised anyone can find any.
Not the team up we expected, but definitely the team up we needed. 10/10 y'all
So cool to see Andy here!! You need to ride it again after we FuelTech it!!
Spoilers! Lol
Workin on a hemi swapped dakota, hope i can get it done soon. Seeing something like this makes me oddly motivated lol
Sounds like a nice build
I've seen a few, basically turning a forgotten truck nobody liked (in the mini truck scene) and turning it into a full middle finger to the world.
David Patterson a mini truck vid has been CRIMINALLY long over due! Andy is a dying breed of true car enthusiasts I ABSOLUTELY LOVE his character and energy, a Boogie Man for sure!!
Just saw a video with andy on fueltech's channel and now here. What a character!
We need more vehicles like this. So much character. 0% boring. Love it.
I love this owner! 😂
This video was a riot and true to two car dudes having fun.
Andy is a man who knows he wants to party but knows that dipping into party funds just isn't going to happen. "We'll make it work" attitude. My spirit animal
I'm building headers for a 1UZ swapped Hardbody right now. Took a really long break from the build but now I have the skills and tools do to it the way I want. I can appreciate the get it rolling attitude.
Man this thing is sweet! This is new age hot rodding at its finest, dude worked w what he had and turned laying around stuff into rolling art, those wheels and license plate spoiler are icing on the cake 👌🇺🇸🇺🇸🤙
Thanks dude, I appreciate that. It's actually changed a little bit since filming this episode, both cosmetically and mechanically. And yes, the jet ski gas tank is gone.
Seeing this truck reminded me of a lowered 4cyl S10 I had for like a year.. far from perfect, underpowered but she handled corners like a dream. I'd love to see more truck reviews in general on the channel.
You know what. I have more respect for guys with small budgets that can make it work than those that have unlimited and do some monster builds. As long as it's safe, and he is having fun with it. Why not. He obviously has good skill to even be able to do the swap.
Yo it's the guy who met that one Brazilian builder after he was reacting about a Brazilian opala in the states! He's a legend!!

this guy is the epitome of a backyard mechanic in the best way possible
I try. Thanks dude! 💜
@@andy_damage dude I love everything about your truck its AWESOME!
New favorite review! This is the definition of built not bought
🤘🤘🤘 thanks!
This video is perfectly geared towards anyone who has to fund their own project car. A true inspiration to all! Thanks for sharing this unique build and I can tell from the comments that the overall thoughts are positive towards this truck.
I'm consistently surprised by how well it's received, tbh.
I luv my majestic bucket of shit 😂
I worked at a dealership for years and years in the early 2000s ,Technicians are by far the most oddly critical of peoples cars you’re ever going to meet. I drove a short box converted 66 Chevy with a Cadillac 472, Muncie 4 speed with the factory 3/4 ton suspension static dropped. Putting low profile race type tires on 8 lug wheels and laughed at. My goal was to build a “ if pro stock car racing had a truck series and Cadillac built one” truck all because I couldn’t afford the five lug conversion and new rear axle. End result was a really powerful truck that did amazing burnouts and so ridiculously fast until it ran out of leg it was actually pretty scary. Some of those same guys I worked with that I thought were making fun of me actually asked about the truck later on. They actually really were impressed by it and gained a lot of respect for it because I seen it through and was exactly what I wanted. This guy did just that. You don’t need a lot of money. Just a great attitude and imagination to build anything. Certain guys come in and help out tremendously kinda like how he got those wheels. Nowadays I have 4 ratty muscle cars that I don’t care what they look like but they run awesome and they get more attention than their painted counterparts at shows. Dodge guys hate my 69 coronet because it’s ratty. But it’s safe and fast. Keep truckin my guy you’re living the dream of custom building. Whether it’s pretty or not, you’re did what most people haven’t…. Driving a project vehicle!!
Freaking love it! Not every build needs fancy TE37s and $8k turbo setup. As long it's fun, do it
Nice ,the license plate spoiler 😂
those are some of the hardest wheels ive ever seen. i think i seen em on this like typhoon or something that's near my house im gonna try and find it again. it has the testa rossa kit on it.
absolutely love it! Got such a nice vibe from this video!
This guy is pure passion for cars. it was amazing to see him driving and reacting to Dick Anderson's Opala Chevy. it would be amazing to see Dave driving a Brazilian car. If this guy fell in love, imagine Dave. Sorry if my inglish was bad. Mas esse cara ama carros. Chevette,Omega e Opala neles
Honestly, this dude and the build are a massive vibe! Love this vid
This is amazing content. He has a great vibe to him. Backyard builds are something spectacular in their own way.
Such a a great, fun video to watch really enjoyed it. We need more mini trucks!!!!
I love this truck and his confidence in his build. This was an awesome drive along 👏
The carpet alone makes the truck epic af lol
I’ll be honest this is the best car review you’ve done, ole dude is a hoot 😂
Rusty Shackelford, LOL!!!
This is such a breath of fresh air man, I love builds like this with sooooo much personality with a fun owner to match

It's so cool to see stuff like this. I love this truck and everything builds like this stand for.
Should have been released April 1st 😂 this dude is hilarious
This man has a great attitude! Seems like a great personality to be around. The steering wheel in oil trick is a fun idea!
What an awesome video man! Sick truck too
Man, i had a 1989 Chevy s10 with a 350 and a b and m ratchet shifter in the floor a few years back. This thing reminded me of all the fun i had in it. I love this truck.
The $10 Walmart air horn got me in trouble many times 😂it’s supposed to be for boat safety so it’s super loud
Lil ol ladies love it
I'm glad that you still remember Josh, David!
Now this is the type of dude you will never get bored hanging out with 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great episode ❤️❤️
My boss will verify that 😂😂😂
This truck is a great argument for respect all builds
Super rad chevy luv. I really love and appreciate homegrown builds, of all flavors. This little truck was saved and is now a fun daily. Great job Andy, Keep it up!
I've seen this man all over the internet and I love him I need more content of this guy's his truck and future builds.
This was awesome! Just subscribed
Loved the truck, the dude, and this vid! Tons of character!
Instant LOVE for this Build 🖤🖤
I love this truck and the vibe it gives off could go so many directions
had to pause and appreciate the interior carpet. holy moly. amazing!
Usually it’s very difficult to bring a guest that can match the hosts charisma, but this totally worked. His timing with random interjections perfectly matches your ability to feed the audience information.
It’s like having an incredible meal that is great on its own, but then adding the perfect dipping sauce on the side.
300 is a steal deal.... aye look at dude in blue taken this truck out... this is respect to a passion..... i cant wait to finish my car i want dude to drive it....
the guy has great attitude and strong personality. love mini trucks, great vid
saludos de argentina!
Clicked this video because it had the hoodscoop i want for my S10 and wanted to see it on the the truck. Ended up staying for the story behind the truck. Definitely a cool build and a cool guy. Would love to see more mini trucks on here.
Scoop came from an aftermarket 4th gen z28 hood. I hated the car so when we sold it I chopped the hood up. 👌
This is good stuff, Props to the guy for the cool chevy minitruck
That's not the game of "Life" carpet....
That's a "City Life" rug.
I remember there being a 4 Runner build here in town that he kinda went the prerunner style and had it on some 35 inch offroad tires with a set of those wheels or some knockoffs like it back in the early 2000's. Was a badass look, cool to see those wheels again!
dude is super cool and his build is fun and unique, that's what it is all about
Stoked on this! I literally just picked up a 92 s10 for 300 bucks.
🙌 score!!!
The owner seems to be a cool guy, love budget builds like that! You build something that you enjoy, and f**** the rest.
That carpet is the BOMB!!!
Awesome video 👍 it's truly a blessing to see humble people who appreciate all things in life ✨️ 88 S10 project 101 should be hitting the roadways soon.
The interior carpet in the truck is dope !! fun build !!! ThatDudeinBlue does not discriminate or disappoint when it comes to cars reviewed !!! 🙇
That’s a sick truck and those wheels are awesome
Wild times and what a fun truck!!
Happy owner with an awesome build. I had a huge smile during this vid!!! If ur old school then you know the feeling. Great looking truck... 🤘
Love the truck and the episode need more off trucks like this ❤
As a former and probably always..mini trucker I think it is pretty cool. Deff needs some love nut has alot of potential..love to see a turbo 4banger in it
Plan is to boost the Buick 🤘
builds like this will always be more interesting than something thats had endless money and shiny parts thrown at it
I love the sleeper / sketchy build reviews
Neat lil truck.. Everything from the carpet to the antenna is rad
I’d love to see more builds like this! Cool to see what people build with what they have and it’s a lot more relatable for the majority of people. I’d love to get ya behind the wheel of my motor swapped 87 Subaru gl10 or my 4g63 swapped Mitsubishi Mirage turbo
Cool little truck, I like what's been done to it👍. My Dad had a similar model truck, his was yellow with the Isuzu diesel engine & I learnt to drive in it aswell. I had a manual Ute (Australia) with a GM 3.8 ecotec.
The car has character. This guy has character. I am loving this video!
That truck has all the character! Awesome build!
This was a great video. the truck and the dude behind it all was awesome 😂
"trust the rust" that is fucking gold 🤣🤣🤣🤣
LOVE IT ! I’m 44 years old , and I freakin miss the mini truck scene. We use to cruise every Friday through Sunday nights and it was a blast. This took me back to the good days. I’m now on marketplace looking for me one. 💪🏻🙏🏻 I use to have a 94 Dakota with the 5.2 V8 single cab white with viper blue racing stripes. Lowered 4/5 with 16x8 and 16x10 American racing VF512s. Man I miss that truck. 😢😢😢
Love this guy!
This is the kind of car culture I love. Builds like this show ingenuity and just the lack of fucks to give
Best review this year !
Really dig this 🤙
David fs learned sum new things this time lol
Funny how a low-budget build is somehow just as if not more entertaining too watch as a high-budget build lol
@Andy Damage awesome truck brother 🤙 keep it up love your style
When I was in high school my friend had a brand new Nissan hardbody . But his was a short box with a tonneau cover . We had lots of fun hydroplaning that truck .
I love this! Need a mini truck in my life at one point
Dude this is cool as hell 🤘🤘🤙
I'm in love with this thing!
This is rad🔥
I love this truck! From the backyard graphics to the license plate spoiler, this thing is the cat's pajamas.
It's amazing to see it running...lol..Good for him..🏁👍🏽
I think the same thing every morning when I fire it up to go to work 😂😂😂
Love it. Like to see more of it
my first vehicle was a silver 1982 Isuzu pup diesel. Now I wish I held on to it. this is cool..I had a Mazda b2000 mini truck back in the day too. so this really brings memories back.
Love it nice job
Nice to see this dude getting more atention
