PROOF You Can Modify ANY CAR! Modified Lincoln Town Car Story

- Not all first cars are created equal. However when you see a car that is SO unexpected to be modified you HAVE to take a look. Zach still to this day has his first car - an old Lincoln Town car. It has a manual transmission swap using a Tremec T56 Magnum, coil over suspension, modified interior, and so much more. He even has the guts to race this thing on oval tracks - proving this machine means business. From the day I met Zach he always told me he had amazing plans - and he actually went through with it all these years later. Thanks for watching and new uploads every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sundays!

35 seconds into this video... I am already impressed. THIS is honest, pure, car appreciation. I absolutely love when people take cars that are never considered 'tuners' or worthy of upgrading or modifying and turning them into something special... I applaud the efforts.
Currently borrowing my uncles Lincoln Town Car, it’s a ‘97 and is gold like this. I’d never driven one before and it drives like it’s floating across still water. Just glides like butter on toast. And that’s unmodified. I can only imagine how luxurious this felt to drive!
There are no words for this car. It is beyond cool. Everything just comes together and looks so good. It perfectly couples together performance and comfort.
I’m a huge panther fam this thing is sick
Such a good platform
I got a 85 two door crown vic, 351w aluminum heads, cam 800cfm double pumper, 5spd.
I never saw this coming and you have to love the passion this guy has
Props to him making this sick build!
That car is badass. My first car was a 79 Lincoln and I've always wanted to build a more modern model like that. Much love and respect, that's a real hotrod Lincoln. Nicely done
This is so impressive! Perfect execution on a very under used and under rated platform. I have a mint 91 MN12 5.0ho t-bird and will be doing a manual conversion as well using all bolt in parts from a t-bird s/c and after seeing this, I’m ready to get after it and get it done.
Someone listened to the song “Hot Rod Lincoln” on repeat too much
I was thinking the same thing.
Nobody can touch my hot rod lincoln
My dad gave me his 76 Lincoln Town Coupé and I lowered it put 255/60/15s all the way around front and rear sway bars, KYB shocks, dual exhaust and no cats. Then later I built the 7.5L motor with forged 10:1 pistons, a cam, edelbrock torker manifold, ported heads and an 850 double pumper carburetor. Never saw anything like it. The thing would bury the 120 mph speed no problem. Towed my 90 Camaro on a Uhaul car trailer from LA to CT with it. Cops hated it in black primer. Couldn’t stop pulling me over.
Great. Now i need a mid 90s town car. Thanks David.
Right lol
Same. I was thinking of doing a Crown Vic or Marquis, but not now.
Never seen this video and I gotta say I would absolutely own this car. I really dig how it looks and I've never seen someone manual swap a town car like this! Just awesome!!!!
this is what i like. So much better than the countless other "take a car and modify it" builds
5:25 I loved when he said “This makes no sense.” I laughed pretty hard at that. I have a classic vintage Lincoln; a 1977 Town Coupe. I won’t turn it into a street racer like this, but it’ll be a beautiful classic luxury cruiser after I restore it.
That thing looks badass, I could’ve picked up a low mileage one for a absolute steal but I passed on it, I regret it 😢

Just 50secs in... I can tell I'm going to appreciate this build. Very clean and simple aesthetics... not your typical "teenager" riced out grandpa car! Props on the execution!!
I’m a sucker for a Panther platform, and this is a unique and well done example. Makes me want to drop a Town Car body on a P71 frame. 😄
Uh there’s no difference in the frame
Town cars are on the same frame as crown vics, get them while theyre cheap before the drift tax hits them
Town car Body is longer, a p71 frame has too short of a wheelbase.
Someone should manual swap a town car stretch limo

@@twoeightythreez I believe only the body is longer by 3", if we are talking about whale panthers.
This car is pretty dope, only thing I would change is the steering wheel
There is probably a ton of wiring in that wheel
That may be the coolest car ever! I have an 03 Marauder and always thought building an 80s boxy Town Car would be cool. I love this one so much! Awesome build!
My first car was a 78 Ford LTD, built it up a little, but then I got my dream car , 79 Lincoln town car which made that Lincoln look small lol. I pulled the 400M out and put a RHS built 460 in, around 400hp, C6 transmission rebuilt with race clutches and shift kit which is really what made that land yacht get up and go. Changed the 9in rear from 2:73 to 3:50 traction lock. Painted black, tinted windows ( mafia style) but kept the white walls and hubcaps to keep the sleeper look. That was the funnest and enjoyable car I ever had. Street racing anything that pulled up to the light, and ran it at local drags trip, high 14’s . Loved the video, it like a blast from my past. While other kids were buying mustangs, and Camaros, sports cars, I was riding with my friends in crushed velour couch seats, fit 6 comfortably and rode like a cloud and was sitting at lights doing dual wheel burnouts and having a blast. Like you said, you can modify anything and make it your own one of a kind
Love it! Totally out of thd ordinary and it looks mean with the stance.
I really love that he did the manual swap tastefully, keeping the interior look.. Honestly, I love the interior of the generation of Lincoln. My grandma had a purple on purple one 😎. That car was badass, digital dash and all.
I am mind blown! When I saw that pop up in my recommended I thought there is no way. It is such great proof that you can make literally any car a fun car.
I have a '96 that I would love to do something similar to. I've been thinking of it for years, but time (and often, money too) has not been on my side. This car certainly reignites the spark, to be sure.
Fantastic build, sir!!
ZZ-Top would be so proud of this "Hotrod Lincoln"
I love that he kept the interior in tact haha, he didn't put racing seats in it, instead he left the lazy boys in and for that Im grateful 😂
Love what Zach did with this car. It has me inspired to buy one and do a manual conversion too
A lot of fwd cars have turbos, that’s proof you can modify a wheelbarrow

Brooooooooooo
Dude... Best comment imo. There's so much hate and gate keeping from people. It can ruin it and destroy motivation for so many people who actually have the potential to do some cool things with obscure builds.
Man, that is so true. I remember asking for advice on exhaust upgrades and other mods for my TC and so many dudes would come in to tell me how I'm either destroying the car, or some other smug response about it being a boat, polishing a turd or just telling me to sell it and get a crown vic. Honestly got very little real advice.
Definitely the best thing that ever happened in the car industry. I have an 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis. I am probably going to do similar things, but I love the plush ride. My mom has a 1996 Grand Marquis that I want to do those things with, not those same things Zach did, but right around those lines

I have added cold air intakes, and chipped them out, which added some horsepower and removed the speed limiters and changed the shift points, but you really outdid yourself and you made it look cool af too with the black accents. NICE.. I've always wanted to add a turbo to one and try to get 1000hp out of it, and i will one day.. Those 4.6s are nearly indestructible.. I had over 400k miles on 2 of my town cars and none had less that 200k when i got rid of them, with not even a hint of a knock or any trouble.. Castrol GTX is your friend...
