Actually that was Karahan Tepe not Gobekli. Gobekli Tepe is actually setup for public viewing with a visitor center, gift shop, and odd media experience room.

Damn, this looks amazing. Hopefully its not the last time this happens, because there are a lot of us that would love to see things like this and will never get the chance. Plus having someone on board who can give real useful information is also amazing.
You are filling a gap in archeology media that has been desperately empty for far too long! I am thrilled that you're doing this series. June 4th is going to be a very special day, not just for you, but for the entire community!
Yeah, I’m an old head XGen (former research scientist), & I have to say I was smiling the whole time I watched this, bc he was just so excited & happy 🙂
I live in turkey and it still gives me a lot of goose bumps. I also loved that you were able to explore our country and show it to the world. It is a beautiful country but it is crashing down.

@Renaigh it's not really new per se, maybe to english only language speakers it is but türkiye is just how turkey spells its own name or more officially the republic of türkiye
I just introduced my dad to you last week, and last night we finished your Ancient Apocalypse series, including the episode where you announced this trip, so it’s awesome to see this trailer come out the next day!
Goosebumps, Milo. Goosebumps. Your footage is visually stunning and I cannot wait for this to be released. @Miniminuteman I hope this one goes viral and you are able to recoup your expenses (plus some). I want this to be successful so that you will be encouraged to do it again, somewhere else.

as a turk i am so excited for this, turkey is such a gem for archeological sites. i dont live far away from the ancient settlement of tion (or tium? filyos). also lucky to have been able to visit kanish or as we call it kültepe last summer since its walking distance from the village of my dad's side

The production looks amazing and of course the sites look beautiful as well ! Time to learn about the hidden beauties of our neighbouring country Turkey, greetings from Greece hope you get to visit us one day as well !
Oh my god I cannot tell you how excited I am to watch this series!!! Greetings from a super rainy Turkey, and thank you in advance for all your incredible hard work!
It’s been amazing watching you grow from your somewhat rocky begginings on CZcams to a full on filmmaker with somewhat impressive cinematography. So hyped.
AHHHHH IM SO EXITED😭 i absolutely love your channel, and cant believe how far you’ve come in such little time. u deserve all the praise, keep doing u:)
I am beyond excited to hear about this trip, especially since I can't travel myself anymore! I've been researching the ancient peoples in this area of Eurasia on and off for several years now, and I absolutely cannot wait to get a more complete picture of this site and the people who lived there!!!
MIlo, the first time I saw images from Gobleke Tepe I actually cried. It's so beautiful. And at the time it was so unexpected and so counter to everything we thought we knew, This trailer brought it all back. I'm in love with archaeology again thanks to you.
Your production quality is pretty damned awesome. I found you via CZcams shorts watching you debunk the conspirahistory nonsense. Glad I found you, glad to see you doing well.
I can not wait! I couldn't watch the trailer when it dropped because i was crazy busy at work but the second i got home! This is going to be an amazing journey and i can't wait to experience it and I'm always excited to learn new things about our history. Looking forward to it.
I am so hyped!! Don't keep a second of footage to yourself Milo, I want the travel bits, the history, the mystery, and all the archeology you got!! Bring it!!
World history is by far my favourite topic of anything ever and you seriously make me want to become an archaeologist Edit: yes I know I ‘can’ but my lack of wanting to go to university or being smart stops me aha
I am so excited for this! My wife and I just had our honeymoon in Greece and had a chance to visit Ephesus in Turkiye. That brief visit had us wanting more and now a full Turkiye visit is a must for us. Excited to see what you have to say about the archaeological sites there!
I love the "for the very first time a real archeologist is able to film at this sight" in gobekli tepe
It's such a subtle, well placed, burn.😂
Not wrong 😂 🌚
