I agree with taxi drivers in Cebu. They're a different breed of taxi drivers from Manila. When you take a taxi in Cebu, you won't have anxiety because the amount that appears on the meter is the same amount that you have to pay, no more no less. In Manila, in all my trips to Manila, it kinda stressful because you wouldn't know how much the taxi driver would surcharge you upon getting off. For example, the last taxi I took in my last visit to Manila in 2014, he personally demanded an amount as additional to what was indicated on the meter even before I could fish out money from my wallet. I was totally aghast because he said I need to add P60 extra on top of what was indicated on the meter. For me, tipping is not a problem. However, I was turned off when he demanded it and specified the amount. So when I handed him the P100 bill, he just kept it and he didn't give me back the P40. When I demanded from him my change, he just casually told me, 'Sir, okay na 'yon. Malayo naman 'yong pinanggalingan 'nyo eh'. I was like' What the f***!" We flagged him from just in front of Manila City Hall and we got off at Grace Residences in Taguig.

nice cebu transit vlog on the way to bantayan island..will be also exploring bantayan this coming dec 28-31 and one nite in cebu city..enjoy all the beautiful places in the island and syempre yung food which they are known for..also watched all your siargao vlog series and maybe next na sa list namin ang siargao.😊

Hi po. Yung pinag stayhan nyo po na hotel sa cebu malapit lang po sa North Bus Terminal? Planning to go to Bantayan Island this coming August po. Thank you
Uy Sir sobrang laki ng improvement ng Hotel Pier Cuatro. Sobrang aliwalas na at inayos nila façade. Diyan ak onag-stay years ago, maganda service. Although location wise ok pa rin naman back then kakabukas lang ng Robinsons. That was year 2016 ata. Ang concern ko lang diyan before agree with you madilim yung daanan sa nearby streets at sa north reclamation ‘yung location. If ikaw ‘yung type ng traveller na mahilig maglakad lakad for midnight snacks and drinks mag grab nalang kasi fuente circle and mango ave is like 1.2-1.8km away yata although generally peaceful naman yung area still hindi tayo taga riyan hehehe pero 8.7/10 would recommend Hotel Pier Cuatro

Thinking of going back to Bantayan as our supposed Cebu Pacific flight to Shanghai China was cancelled. 😜 Converted to Travel Fund. Happy nacancel kasi di din nakapagipon plus hassle pa ang international flights now. Local muna tayu. 😊
Stayed at Anika Island Resort the first time we went to Bantayan. ✌🏻
