Many of these were more enjoyable then a lot of battle bots. (edit) I actually enjoy these more then Battlebots. More like I'm standing there and much less noise. Only drawback is the blind spot where the camera can't get all the way to left. Hope to see more of this competition if I can. Revi M Fadli - Yep, agreed. I think these bots are well worth TV coverage. The obsession with 'biggest is best' is stupid - the heavyweight Battlebot machines are certainly impressive, but they're also incredibly expensive, so the TV show is super-exclusive. The technology here is every bit as cool; there's lots of destruction, too. Sadly, there needs to be a lot of education (of TV executives) before the general public gets to see how good these smaller robots are.
Elli P to be fair, they could've done that since the old series had lighter classes as well, but perhaps due to budget limits they had to choose one, and the most interesting, well-known, and prospective class was heavyweight, so they chose it
Modern battery power and motors gives these little bots a fantastic power:weight ratio. They pack a punch far beyond what seems 'normal'. I love it. It's as surprising as watching a weasel (tiny thing about as big as your thumb) running off carrying a full-grown rabbit in its jaws. Feisty little guys; feisty little bots!

Not one of those ersatz Russian/American/Chinese/Euro things, a PROPER one. An old-school ENGLISH weasel. Short back-and-sides, a touch of woad, tightly-rolled umbrella, dresses on the right, drives on the left. About as big as one's (my) thumb. Maybe you need to order better quality weasels. Finding gloves is never a problem because my thumbs aren't as big as stoats, and they're smaller than ferrets, and far titchier than pine mart- What? No, they're WAY smaller than wolverines and ratels. But I CAN climb a tree whilst carrying a 2,900 lb giraffe in my jaws. No idea what to do with it once I've got it there, though.
