This video discusses Australia's new $11 Billion Western Sydney Airport and what it means for the region. This new airport is a game-changer for the area and will help to increase economic growth and tourism in the area.
Check out this new airport if you're traveling to or living in the Western Sydney region! It's definitely worth your time and you'll be blown away by just how big and impressive it is!

It's strange that you didn't mention the Metro line being constructed at the same time which has a station at the airport as well as the new Western Sydney Airport Business Park and on up link up with existing heavy rail network at St Marys.
The opening sequence is nothing like the terrain around the new airport. This is misleading as the actual terrain was already reasonably flat. There was very little substance in the video. The subject matter is covered mu h better in many other videos on the internet. Very disappointing. I'll still check out your ther videos. Hopefully they'll be better.
I’m from the area and working on the project and can vouch for this comment.
This is not an Ariel view of Badgerys creek. It looks more like Mudgee.
Getting to this airport by car or train will take longer than your trip to Europe! Lol
I will keep using Kingsford Smith!
Twit.
Look at a comparative map of Europes size overlayed on an Australian map. Makes sense then
This airport is for the people of Western Sydney
I’m excited to fly through western Sydney international airport in 2026

I think that need to link from Schofield’s to St Mary’s then onto WSI
What we really need is a connection to MacArthur via Oran park
I can imagine some idiot, after the WSI is fully established and working well to plan, suggesting closing Kingsford Smith Airport (KSA). I certainly hope that idea doesn't come to fruition...as the WSI airport is there to supplement the traffic from KSA. But there is always some drongo will suggest it in the future...I'm just getting in early to criticize the idea before it happens. My sarcasm knows no bounds. 😂
On another subject, I can imagine with a new development the size of WSI, the usual braindead protesters will be at the opening of said airport.
To those possible protesters, that second airport...is well overdue. KSA is already overloaded.
you and I both know thats coming ! that land is worth billions - but not until 2050 when the links (rail & road) are projected to be finished.
And I bet the land all around it is being snapped up by developers wanting to build housing for future airport noise complainers.
The development of this era is getting faster and more innovative! Crazy!
true
2026. open ready to rumble
Its about time Sydney catches up to Melbourne. Hopefully it can actually stay open 24/7.
yes, unfortunately for residents under the flight paths it will be 24/7
