Stray Kids is rap heavy in comparison to most Kpop groups. They are definitely different. They are 4th gen KINGS!!!!!! They all sing.

Stray kids are a very unique group, they quite literally have their own sound and vibe, when you hear them you can instantly recognize their music. That's not just a praise, they actually created their own genre called "mala taste", besides this though their b-sides go through quite a lot of genres while still being very stray kids even their softer songs still have a their own vibe
I definitely agree that theyâre unique! At first when I watched them I didnât know they made mostly everything by themselves but I did see that a lot of work, effort and dedication went into their music! Plus now I know that theyâre versatile and each member can do both singing and rapping makes them even more talented and highkey great! It really makes you appreciate them more!

Okay so I warn you my comment will be long since I have a few things to say.
First to answer your questions.
Band and group doesn't mean the same thing in kpop. A group is like stray kids or bts, they dance. While a band are playing instruments (and basically band is for krock) like Day 6, The rose, Nu'est or Xdinary Heroes !
BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan, which means Bangtan boys if I'm not wrong... I'm not an army
Okay so now Stray kids !
So first S-class is the title track of their newest album 5 STAR, released on the 2nd. Fun fact it was the most pre ordered album in kpop history with 5.13M preorder. And for it's first week, we have now more than 4M sales and the weeks did not end yet.

So the one with silver hair is Felix and Hyunjin is the one with Pink hair. Right now Felix has blue hair and Hyunjin black hair sooo it's not the exact same thing...
They have a song that is fully old school hip hop vibes, if I'm not wrong, called Muddy water. It's only the (main) rap line, and it doesn't have an MV so if you wznt to check it out you have color coded versions.
Actually two different people sings the two different first part of the pre chorus. In the first one it was Seungmin and In the second one Bang Chan. What's funny is that you said there was one vocalist and when you unpaused it was Bang Chan rapping đ. And when you search for them he was called a rapper đ.
It's actually kind of hard but if you respect their original positions : there are 6 rappers, 5 vocalists and 4 dancers for 8 members (meaning they have multiple positions). But the general people would say that :
- the rap line is : Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix
- the vocal line is : Bang Chan, Lee Know, Han, Seungmin and I.N.
- the dance line is : Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix.
I know it's confusing but basically anyone can do anything.
So for Tokyo ghoul vibe, I didn't understand at first but now I get what you mean.
And talking about anime, Stray kids sang the opening and the ending of Tower of God !
About producing.
Stray kids are 99.9% self-produced. They only have one song where none of the members are credited for lyrics, composition or arrangement, and the reason is that it's an Alesso song they are featuring in.
The main producers are 3racha (threeracha) : Bang Chan, Changbin and Han. So 3racha is actually two things, inside of stray kids they are the producing unit and as an independant group they are a undeground rap group, that's why Bang Chan was called a rapper even if he is mainly a vocalist.

Hiii! I just want to help you get to know SKZ (Stray Kids) a little more. Stray Kids are an 8 member boy group but used to be 9 one of their members had left only a year after debuting and has become a successful soloist in the K-pop community/industry.
I would also like to say that Bang Chan (Stray Kid's group leader) had been a trainee at JYP Entertainment for 7 years and got to hand pick his own members said by JY Park himself (aka JYP). The group consist of 8 members those being

2: Lee Minho or also known as Lee Know
3: Seo Changbing
4: Hwang Hyunjin
5: Han Jisung
6: Lee Felix
7: Kim Seungmin

stray kids dont have roles, but rather units! (they are not limited to just what their unit specializes in and all of them can do practically everything thought, haha)
3racha: was formed before stray kids (skz) was a thing, and specializing in production and rap! members include bang chan (the one you said was the groups singer lol), changbin, and han!
danceracha: specializes in dance! members include: lee know, hyunjin, and felix (the one with the silver hair who you said was your favorite :D)
vocalracha: again, name is pretty self explanatory haha- they specialize in vocals! members include seungmin and i.n (aka jeongin)
there are other 'rachas' that they have adopted which the fans have given certain members for fun, the possibilities for racha units are endless

Stray kids is an amazing group. But the positions arenât entirely correct. They just released a video for DLC from this album, but Godâs Menu, Backdoor, Thunderous and Maniac are all good starting places.

No one else is answering your question about what BTS means so Iâll tell you. The groups original name is bangtan sonyeondan. That means bulletproof Boy Scouts in english. All the members hated this name. So the fans either called them just âbangtanâ or âBTSâ to avoid saying the name. this became the name they were more known by since the groups real name was just- not great. When they got popular in america the company stated that bts stands for âburn the stageâ- because the company eventually realize that the name they picked was too awful and they didnât want American audiences to know that the groups original name.
