I remember as a kid ages ago getting a copy of the first sabbath album in a stack of used lps I bought at a garage sale. I put it on that afternoon while my mom was playing cards at the neighbors and when the guitar broke through after the lightning crashed I felt the hairs on my arm stand up. By the time N.I.B. was finished playing at the end of side one I was pacing around my bedroom blown away by what I'd heard. I knew then I had discovered something magical.
What idiot let that album go to a garage sale?!
The Best Ozzy album of them all.
Nope
The doubled effect on the mic isn't right for this song
@@awesomebeard1973 I mean of his solo work. His studio albums are not as heavy as this live record.
@@awesomebeard1973 its still amazing for it being live
Str8 up best hands down
This whole album,,, INCREDIBLE STUFF!!!
God bless you all !!
Bought myself this album at 14 yrs old and learned it from beginning to end. I could sing all of his songs on this album. Used to sing sometimes at The Rock Palace at that age and had a sing-off one time with a band that was playing one night over: FIND OUT I'M THE CHOSEN ONE... I won!! I've got a contralto voice (the rarest and deepest of female voices) so could really sing good rock such as this, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Dio, etc. Love Ozzy and he will ALWAYS remain by No. 1!
Oh shit I forgot to listen to this today
truth
2:20 that laugh and cackle .......purely sinister.
Near on the best moment on the album.

One of my favorite songs to sing live!
Sick solo Brad👏👏hats off to him

when i first listen to this album...i never went back to play those songs like tony I... "I just like Brad's..metalish way to play these songs.."Brad.. kills in this album"
This album makes me wanna sign up ⚡️🤘⚡️😫💀
An absolute fucking masterpiece !!!
What a line up.
Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge l can completely understand... But Brad Gillis? From Night Ranger?
Absolutely Awesome
just how i remember it
My favorite Ozzy album !
I owned this double live vinyl album...
ALSO......in another format.......They had a 2 tape cassette version for like first 6 months too with a special case .....then they came out with the single cassette version which my tape player would eat sometimes. .... I lived in a duplex and the guy next door would jump to make records skip..... He was none too happy when I got the boom box and a ton of new tapes from columbia house in the mail.
This scared the shit out of me first. Then King Diamond. Then Tool. In succession of maturity.
Is it only me, or do these classic Sabbath tunes (iron man, war pigs, Fairies wear boots, sweet leaf, paranoid, black sabbath) sound WAY BETTER on this live album than they ever did on the original Sabbath albums? I know those sabbath albums were like 10 years older than this 1980s release. but I had a friend who was a huge Sabbath fan who heard Speak of the Devil for the first time back in the early 1980s and his jaw was on the floor when he heard these old tunes played like this. Am i crazy? Is it blasphemy? To me if I could only hear one version of these Sabbath songs it wouldnt be off a Sabbath album, but this post Randy Rhoads death album Ozzt had to make to fulfill a record deal. Gillis? Amazing.
First Ozzy album I ever owned, but definitely not the last. My mother hated the cover, but my dad thought it was really funny! Still own my original vinyl copy. I just wish that Sharon and Ozzy would get over their hatred of this album and issue it on all the streamers.
Why that rrrrrrrrrrrr between tracks ahahahaha! Nice! Please God help me!
Maestro del metal Ozzy Osbourne.
We deciphered all the symbols on the album when we were teenagers. Says all about how Randy was the best.
Yea
Second best Ozzy album after Diary of a Madman. Tied for first place for best live album... Competing with Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East and Iron Maiden - Live After Death.
Dio- Sacred Heart live album is up there too.
Fantastic live album. In my top list of live albums. My number 1 favourite live album though is AC/DC-IF YOU WANT BLOOD…YOU’VE GOT IT (1978)

lo tengo en vinilo
Does he say?Oh no.Not my balls!Instead of please God help me?
OH YES HE DOES 🤣 4:32 But it sounds more like "No, no! Get off my balls!!"
"god bless you" ooops. Jajajaja. Funny thing.
This is an ok album for an Ozzy live album but it just doesn't have that guttural crunch that Iommi, Butler, and Ward would give these hard rock masterpieces..
Agreed
I always heard Ozzy hated this album, don't know why Brad did a great job playing the old Sabbath tunes.. I'm guessing because this was done after Randy died
read up on it; it was a cynical cash grab and contractual obligation.
Much of it is faked too. EX: Ozzy's vocals were all RE-done in the studio, plus it broke up the band! Randy and co QUIT in protest etc!
