Simply sounds next level and much more developed than what he was able to do with his voice on some of these tracks in the 70s. The Speak of the devil version of the song Black sabbath for instance is simply the best Ozzy ever performed the song

I consider this a FUNK album….. Heavy metal FUNK! Them boys were bringing it!

Rudy and Tommy are laying down the heaviest FUNK in the history of rock! An absolute clinic of groove, fills, and power. Tommy’s double bass fills and one-handed cymbal chokes are a national treasure to be studied and revered throughout history.

When Carmine Appice starts spouting off about how he taught Jesus to walk on water, suckled Bonham to his breast, and how great he is, I think of this album and Tribute and think he isn’t worth the sweat on Tommy’s balls. Carmine was great in the leather suit in the Village People though. He still gets royalties for the use of his ball tickling mustache…..

Tommy was absolutely BRINGING the double bass FUNK!!! Those intro fills are badass!!

as a lifelong player of the guitar, i am always mesmerized by Randy Rhoads otherworldly guitar playing. his signature style taught me that the unwieldy spirit can be one with the six, and 12 string axe. now, for the sweet music afterlife--- good karma allowing. RIP the fine guitarist Randy Rhoads. gone too soon and too long ago. the music lives on, we don't---- or..... rock on.

One of my favorite rock songs of the early 1970's.

Blizzard and Madman will always be Ozzy's best albums IMO. And so much of that is because of the genius of Randy Rhoads.
