    I just did my CELPIP test last weekend. I got a score of 12 in writing. That was my first time. It was amazing. I watched some of your videos some days before the test. Thanks.

      Hey Abbas congrats, I have a question on the Writing test.. does celpip Word editor allow us to scribble notes and then delete them if required so that we can brainstorm on the editor itself instead of paper?

    Hi, Mark! I participated in an English business email writing class a few months ago. The teacher told us that we need to be concise when writing e-mails so that others can easily understand what you mean. This is the same as you said.

    Since I joined your amazing channel, my use of everyday English has been more natural and confident. Also, my vocabulary has expanded considerably. It's a safe place in which one can improve one's language skills thanks a million ☺️

    Morning Mr Mark,

  • @ohiopines14
    @ohiopines14 Před 2 lety +1

    Whenever I hear the name Bob Marley, one word comes to my mind-Reggae. The kind of music done with strong Jamaican accent with steady unconventional beats. Imagine if this whole learning thing is a"face to face" method, we'll be rubbing elbows with him🎼🥁🎸
    That's a good editing, Mark. I really needed this kind of tips-although I'm aware of the significance of a good first impression in composition. This lesson reminds me of the phrase we often times says about the word simplicity-"less is more."
    There's no reason Bob Marley wont get 12 points when he had provided such key vocabularies, I reckon. Ofcourse, I'm thankful that you have provided us other meanigful words to ponder. And when you're trying to threaten the celpip people with the "choice words" by your looks , that's so FUNNY!!😁🤨
    Now that I put into practice the 3331 rule, I bid you farewell and hope for you the best of the day!🌻

    Thanks Mark for the great videos. Just regarding the length of the writing, I was in the Paragon Celpip writing workshop the other day and they advised word count should be between 135-220 words. According to them (and specificallyregardingthe max number), if the word count exceeds 220 words, then there will be penalties. 🤔

    • @MadEnglishTV
      @MadEnglishTV  Před 2 lety

      Oh really? But on the website it says 150-200. If they say you can write 220 without any penalties, then I guess you can!

    Hallöchen Mark!!!
    First and foremost, you look awesome!!!👍👍👍👏👏👏
    Wow, Bob Marley is one of our classmates!!! That's awesome!!!😍
    Only 150 to 200 words???🤔
    No problem!!! In German almost everything can be ONE word😁😁😁!!!
    On the other hand, the German language has a lot of useless filler words, such as wohl/well, zwar, wirklich/really, recht/rather, mal/once etc.!!!
    I like ice-cream too🍦, but I like chocolate better!!!🍫🍫🍫😋
    "Plethora" what a great new word to add to my vocabulary!!! I thank you most warmly!!!👍👍👍
    Sadly enough, I'm very bad at making things up!!!😔😔😔
    "3331 done!!!!" You really should have this saying patented, wouldn't you think so too???
    Sure thing, I'll keep my fingers crossed for "Bob Marley"!!!🤞🤞🤞
    Once I retire, I'd also like to do something useful voluntarily!!!🤝
    Cheers, Mark!!! Have a wonderful day in Canada!!!
    Take care, my friend!!!😎👑😎👑😎🤝🇨🇦🇩🇪🙋‍♀️

      Hi! 😃😃
      Thanks so much!
      Yes, the German version of the CELPIP would allow only one monster word! rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz
      I'd probably get a score of 12 for that, eh? 😎
      What kinds of useful things would you like to do after retirement?
      Have a great Sunday in Doreenchenville!
