Very well. I would do that!

Hello, I just found your page. Please can you give the measurement of the butter, sugar and others you use per batch.
Okay, so technically, half a spoon of butter, 3-4 drops of vanilla essence for half a cup of corn -to pop.
Your sugar depends on how sweet you want it. Averagely, 3-4 tablespoons per popped corn batch. Always remember to stir immediately, so the sugar touches every corn. And for your
Milk when packaging, 1tsp will do. (except you need to add more of course)
And what type of milk did you use
Thank you very much Ma. I’ve made mine, but the sugar didn’t stick to the popcorn 😢 please how can I improve. And what’s the vanilla essence and butter measurement.
Wow. You would need to pour in enough sugar immediately after you pour it out of the pot not later, and stir very well as you do.
The vanilla is 2-3 drops and the butter is half a tablespoon.
Congrats
Nice one,how many cups did you make to produce those packs
From the video, I measured 5 cups and popped them all.
Good evening ma. Ma GOD BLESS you for this video. Thank you so much. But please ma how many popcorn packs did you get from all that corn you bought?
I bought a kilo for 1k. I packed for N100each and I packed 36 packs in total. That's 3k in total
@@followthetrackswithlihin okay ma,thank you sooo much✝️❤️
good afternoon please I just came across your video, pls I looked at the video and I saw you use just butter is groundnut oil not needed.
Secondly I pop my corn adding. Groundnut oil , little butter and add the sugar and corn missed together. Pls I stand to be corrected your opinion pls
Waoooo thanks Ma, but where can I get the ingredients for this porpcon, who sales them, thanks Ma, I have subscribed
Thanks for subscribing. 😊 You can get your ingredients from a baking shop.( that is where baking items are sold).
The milk used here is the one that is measured in cups.
Also note that the corn is pop corn and not the regular yellow corn.
You can show them a screenshot of the packaging nylon, so they can understand your need.
Ok thanks Ma
Great. How about those coloured popcorn?
Would you like to see a video on that? I have been thinking about it.
Yeas oo because kids love it
Yes please I'm interested
From srilanka❤
Good to have you 😊
Ma pls did you use local or foreign?fos the local one i used did not pop all the karnels
By local I am sure you mean the one produced in northern Nigeria. Yes, that's what I use.
Mind you, if it doesn't pop that's coz the majority of the kernels are bad so you may want to look out for fresher kernels with no insect invasion and smells fresh.
This karansom gold kernels how do we identify it in local markets
Well, if the corn is already removed from the original bag, you may want to ask the seller, some of them are kind to tell you the kind they have but to identify the differences at face value, I am yet to coz the kernels are very similar.
Please ma I need your measurements and also ma what kind of corn did you use, cuz I want to start popcorn business, thank you ma I await your reply
The corn is called popcorn. Can be found in baking shops.
Measurement for a popping session
1/2 cup of corn
1/4 cup of oil or butter
Pinch of salt
1teaspoon vanilla essence
For the packaging use your discretion to measure popcorn and milk so you can make at least 50% profit.
Hope this helps
Ma i didn't see you adding sugar
Just the corn and butter
I don't add sugar with the corn and butter coz it usually comes out too brown and bitter so I add sugar immediately after the popcorn is ready. This was done off the camera. The voice-over and subtitle said when I did.
how much profit do you make out of 1kg Popcorn, including ingredients, papers disposable spoons
help
Hmm. At the time this video was filmed, the economy wasn't this bad so the profit was about 3k give or take.
Right now you still can get a good profit by increasing the cost of a pack or reducing the quantity.
You will need to do a test to see which one your customers accepts.
@@followthetrackswithlihin ok thanks for the response yes l was wondering obout the profits
l will try your suggestion
Please ma how and where can i get a my own label?
Pay a graphic designer to create a label for you
Thought this type of corn can't pop, i once tried it but it never popped
It is not the yellow corn used for pap. It's called popcorn in the market and it definitely pops except you didn't do it correctly.
Please will you pour the oil into the pan before pouring the butter
You can choose to use oil or butter. Either way, a small quantity will do.
Is it the same corn used for making pap?
Noooo. Ask for popcorn. It's usually yellow and smaller in size than regular corn.
Where can one buy foreign popcorn
I am not exactly sure. But most of the popcorn we use comes from the northern part of Nigeria. I would recommend the Karamson gold kernels.
Please in what location and store can i get the corn
You can get it in your local market. Simply ask for popcorn in places that sell grains. You can also check baking shops too.
Hii. Please how many pieces is the packaging nylon
100pieces
Ma pls my corn kernels are not popping out well
Ensure that you are using medium to high heat. Low heat makes it burn and wouldn't pop well.
Also, try to get fresh kernels. Old kernels wouldn't pop well.
I hope this helps.
Happy popping!
@@followthetrackswithlihin ma pls again give me a picture of the corn kernels u use bcs mine are almost like the one there use for Akawu I don’t know the difference
Ma I tried doing mine and it burn,
So sorry about that. You need to keep shaking the pot immediately it starts popping.
Why do you add plastic spoons
For hygiene. Persons prefer to use a spoon when their hands are unwashed.
Ma, did you packaged it hot or after cooling down
By the time I am done popping, it's already cooled but still crunchy then I package.
Didn't see ya add sugar 🧐
😄 I did but not on camera. But you can hear me say it in the voice-over and I added a subtitle there too.
@@followthetrackswithlihin ohw 🤭 thanks for the recipe anyways
You very welcome
@@followthetrackswithlihin alright
Please why do you add spoon
Some people take hygiene very seriously so when they buy it outside their homes, they would prefer to not use their unwashed hands to eat.
Hello pleas i need the pakeging
Kindly Check the market
@@followthetrackswithlihin what’s the package called once u go to the market
Pls ma is it any corn 🌽
No. It's specifically popcorn.
Please at what point did you add the vegetable oil
Margarine can be substituted with vegetable oil. Both works great.
Whar is the size of the bag used?
The video shows 8*5 inches packaging nylon
Please where can I get the nylon @@followthetrackswithlihin
@@hannahnweabili7064 you can check baking shops
