good job young people! please keep it up! society needs this more than ever! hope springs eternal!
Beautiful sultry voice💕
Best Trolley Song I ever heard
Unique and yet classical at the same time. Wonderful talent, wonderful voice and wonderful Swing Band! Switching between concert setting and trolley location... superb!
"Ruined this song"?? No, she put her own style to it. Bravo! "Uncomfortably cheesy"?? No, she put her own individuality into the song! More of the same, please! The most enjoyable, sound perfect, video perfect production I have had the pleasure of watching in a long time. There is musical hope for the future, with young people as talented as this.
What a great voice.
This is really a wonderful video. I love it and your swing music quite a lot. Thanks for your videos on CZcams. Kind regards says Gregor who dances swing in the northern part of Germany ... in Kiel near Baltic Sea :-)
what a voice , just beautiful!
This was great. Garland still is THE definitive singer of Trolley Song, but this version is a nice, smooth, swing style. Good job all around & good to see good music is still appreciated.
I just love this ladies voice WOW!!!
The band is also excellent…Bravo
Superb song and video. Love it, very well done.
I'm a volunteer trolley Motorman and Conductor in Oregon!
Yes she has a beautiful crystal clear voices...really lovely to watch...
This song is great. I wish there was more of Beantown Swing Music on Spotify, I'd add this to my playlists in a heartbeat.
This is the best cover of any song that I ever heard!
Uniquely different than the Garland version, and distinctly wonderful!
There are many comments comparing this to the Judy Garland version. Why? It's wonderfully done and has a perfect swing tempo. The original is more of a race tempo to suit the scene, this is true swing. Also, a song doesn't have to sound like the original to be good.
Ya know, I mostly come here just for the music, but when you get a video that is so perfectly matched to the song, and both are brilliant, it's like magic. Play on!
Your lead singer's voice is amazing! I know it's the wrong time of year, but for some reason after listening to this I'm hoping you have Christmas music too...
Just heard this on SiriuslySinatra after listening to it on here for a while. A pleasure to here you all anywhere on any station.
This is just superb - Nelson Riddle standard orchestration and WWOWW what a voice! Judy Garland eat your heart out!
Awesome video! This music needs to go mainstream!
Terrific! Very well done!
love it !!! beautiful voice and
music
Wonderful to see young people find the zing and the beauty in these great songs of an earlier era...terrific band with great brass and an excellent singer with a lovely voice and feeling for the material from the great American songbook. ...an Aussies view!
wonderful ...
and amazing ...
Beautiful voice
Great thanks for posting
Wonderful Job! Keep It Up!
Terrific. Very smooth.
"Perfect!"
Love it
LOVE it!
AWESOME!!!!
Bravo!
John Stevens is my best friend
Wow, great video!
She has a great voice and the song is perfect in its own right.
To sad that the video holds it back. This is one of the few times when a static title card would have improved a video. Sorry.
Yeah!!!
lindo demais... o vídeo também lindo...
Who's she? She does a very good job singing the trolley song. 😀😉👍
Jen Hirsh

Wow 😮 & Like 🎹
....theres hope for humanity
Never heard of Jen Hirsch, but she really did a great job on this.
Absolutely stunning, the orchestra and singer were amazing. What mic did you guys use to record her voice? ive been looking for one and the quality is so amazing, maybe if its not a studio recorder i could get my own hands on it haha
+Sierra Rain it was a Neumann U47
With my high starched-collar and my high-topped shoes
And my hair piled high upon my head
I went to lose a jolly hour on the trolley
And lost my heart instead
With his light brown derby and his bright green tie
He was quite the handsomest of men
I started to yen so I counted to ten
Then I counted to ten again
Clang, clang, clang went the trolley
Ding, ding, ding went the bell
Zing, zing, zing went my heart strings
From the moment I saw him I fell
Chug, chug, chug went the motor
Bump, bump, bump went the brake
Thump, thump, thump went my heart strings
When he smiled I could feel the car shake
He tipped his hat, and took a seat
He said he hoped he hadn't stepped upon my feet
He asked my name, I held my breath
I couldn't speak because he scared me half to death
Buzz, buzz, buzz went the buzzer
Plop, plop, plop went the wheels
Stop, stop, stop went my heart strings
As he started to go then I started to know how it feels
When the universe reels
The day was bright, the air was sweet
The smell of honeysuckle charmed you off your feet
You tried to sing, but couldn't squeak
In fact you loved him so you couldn't even speak
Buzz, buzz, buzz went the buzzer
Plop, plop, plop went the wheels
Stop, stop, stop went my heart strings
As he started to leave
I took hold of his sleeve with my hand
And as if it were planned
He stayed on with me and it was grand just to stand
With his hand holding mine to the end of the line
Pure cheese but love it
Can you do another one but faster like the normal speed please not toi be rude

What a wonderful singer but why couldn't the video makers find a derby.
It was on a budget and John Stevens already owned a fedora but not a derby. We didn't think anyone would notice!
LOL
Was she on American Idol?
Obviously they are syncing but the band is very good... The upright bass player is a cuteeeee.....
not a great music video, amazing song
Nice vocals; need to punch up the tempo, it's draaaaaagy.
+George Lyons No way! It's about time we see some young people that can sing great classics!! She's terrific! Keep that rap crap and the rest of the junk played today!!
+Bernard Kerman You are right. There is so much junk, schlock passed off as music by THE M(ASS)MEDIA.
I think what George is referring to is that this version is soft compared to the original and wants to hear a more hard swing/jazz version. Idk
This was a bit dull at the beginning despite it being familiar then it became more interesting and the finish was super.
Great song, video not so much.
No dancers? :)
Horrible video. Good song
Love the music, love the voice, but the video was really bad, the guy had no style, and the whole thing was really slow and it professional.
Could you have got a more handsomer man?
No one is gonna mention the creepy ginger dude?
His name is John Stevens. He was on American Idol.
The singer is so bad. She tries too hard to add emotion to her voice, and she sounds like she is moaning. She has a lot to learn from Garland.
What? ? seriously? sometimes we don't need to criticise to try and impress. This lady has a quality voice. Really suits the big band sound. glad the rest agree lol tempo nice for the style it's played in
+kazfilmscompany You're nuts.She's terrific!!
Who wants to hear someone sing just like Judy? This singer is wonderful with her own interpretation of the song.
Uncomfortably cheesy! 😱
she ruined this song
