Put the oil on the fish before you bread it, add more oil after first dipping and then dip again. Extra crispy.
Heiko, just a tip from a long timer . Next time you fry pickles , 1st cut those gurkins long ways,then use fish or chicken batter (Autreys or Zarritans) add a little bread crumb if you want it more crunchy. Just remember, bread crumbs burn real fast if frying. And you're food won't be cooked in the middle. Thats the reason for the batter. Hope it helps. Go get some more ROSIES awsome cold water fish !!!!!

Try mincing the fish, then add seasoning, then roll the fish in a stick, form then rolling in bread, crumbs, and then frying its amazing. Great day on the water

When you read the ingredients on a box of fish sticks, fish breadcrumbs, and then their pre-cooked and vegetable oil that’s why the oil is listed. You don’t put it on the fish. The reason the store-bought were sizzling is because they still have that oil that they were fried in, the crumbs next time try deep frying them they’ll be much more crispy

It looks great, add a little corn starch to the breading on the home made to get it crunchy .
Great video! Thanks for sharing. I have 2 Krakens. I use them for fishing halibut in 400' of water near Neah Bay Washington. Great reels. I would definitely recommend them.
