Do you think you could do a video about the sacrifices it took to get their Ivy League schools & what their pre-college journey was like? Also dealing with the stigma of working hard for something & people trying to slide you for it? Lastly how they’re bracing for possibly even bigger goes in the future. I actually checked and believe this applies to a) public gatherings b) the actual anthem (and not a rendition/cover like I did) and c) in this case I’m acting as a representative internationally (which was one of the exceptions). Can you do an episode interviewing Native American students in the Ivy League?? Ask about transitioning from reservation, what they’re majoring in and tribe they’re from, culture shock, a Native American program at their ivy, and financial resources that have helped them?

That I-20 story is the real thing. I almost had a heart attack when she was talking about it because I almost forgot to get my I-20 once.
I'm applying to American universities next year, wish me luck :). Thank you for this incredible show, so far it has been very helpful in terms of campus life and culture.
Watching this as an international student with an American citizenship makes me realise how lucky I am. I'm so glad I have a social security number, no need for a VISA, I-20, and I'll be able to get a job without the hassle. Phew.

Lmao what I can say though with LJs perspective on schools striking (it’s not an event that happens allot, UCT (which I must say as a non UCT student, it’s the best university in Africa. And they at the time were protesting for the fall in fees because they’re literally so ridiculous here). I’m glad we had LJ innit though ❤️❤️

I felt proud that there were two Africans, especially Kenyan, because my father was an international student from Senegal 🇸🇳 and Senegal and Kenya 🇰🇪 are both in West Africa (they’re super close) It just made me proud to see a fellow West African and African in general to thrive at an Ivy League university 👏🏾 ❤️

The "University of Central Florida" is an excellent university that is diverse and extremely enjoyable! ....And the student life is amazing. I love seeing foreign students experience American universities and the activities, clubs and sports culture. It is very different from other countries.
As a South African I am interested in the application process LJ went through to get into Penn . And are American barbecues better than a South African braai
American barbecues are no where near as good as Braai's. Whether its the flavoring of the food (flavoring things is none existent here) , the vibe on the day, or even when they bbq it does compare to braai's. You also tend to miss the small things in braai's like the strictly South African delicacies.

You missed representation from Latin America :( I think it is so different being a US-born Latinos studying in US universities vs. people born in Latin America that go study to the US. I am from Venezuel and I was able to get a scholarship to a US college going through challenges from the huge factor of being need-aware to many of us escaping corruption and crises in our countries to obtain an education.
