I quite like this style of edited video with voice over. When done right you can weave compelling stories and inject more witty commentaries otherwise couldn't with live play recording.
I think it's a lot more compact than the original city, so a lot more verticality as they started building directly up the walls of the original crater
It does indeed, different events do happen each time, though in this beta we only had access to the same factions so I couldn't tell you how much changes each attempt
If the studio survives after this terrible sequel, I wont be surprised to hear the classic "we are going back to the basics" for frostpunk 3, if there is gonna be one.
Unfortunate to see how the game turned out in the end. As it seems my assumptions unfortunately were correct and it's like 80% political drama. I mean... some may enjoy it, that's great and all, but unfortunately I won't be one of them. But hey, you win some you loose some.
They ruined a good franchise. They exchanged something solid with basic micromanagement in an inhospitable environment with few resources. Due to a pseudo base construction planning dominated by bureaucrats who do not know what they are doing, blinded by selfish desires that do not aim for the good of the whole, in other words, this society is doomed to fail like the one before the ice age. Not taking any lessons from this game, but from the infinite human stupidity that insists on repeating the same mistakes of the past. Internal factions, pathetic. They didn't learn anything.
If I ever get depressed I am just going to buy a warehouse full of chairs.

Man it's annoying to have to rebuild what people destroy in real life.
