I love the absence of music. Everything is so inundated with music, it is relieving. I love that it’s not fast-forwarded. I love that you’re talking to us about your thought processes.
Charcoal has such a mesmerizing quality and no one capitalizes on that quality better than you do. I wish I had one tenth of your drawing talent and visual sensitivity!!
Been watching your stuff on instagram for a while now, totally astounded by your talent. Absolutely love the white on black though and I've experimented but as a new "artist" I'm still very much at the learning stage. Love this video.
Love your style of drawing. You keep it real, not a lot of bs. Thank you
I love how you worked this image. I've become addicted (?) to low key images using white charcoal, I'm now going to try your technique using a soft palet knife. Thank's for the inspiration
Absolutely mesmerizing
Thank you so much, amazing work!
Wow! that is beautiful to watch you work the shadows and highlights, Im impressed
wonderful work! It is so beautiful to see how you treat your art, caressing, sculpting, touching the subject. Thanks
Just beautiful.
I love this so much. This kinda reminds me of Henrik Uldalen's paintings but in charcoal!
Gorgeous.
You have a unique style. Very impressive. I bet there's a good market for portraits done like this vs. the traditional realistic style.
My Guy....You are so talented. Please keep the videos coming. Love watching them come together from nothing. Appreciate your time and effort. Stay Groovy.
All your art works are amazing! You have a very special talent💗👍💗
Your technique is amazing!
Gorgeous work!
Outstanding!!!
great demo, thank you
Love your art work👌👍
This is fascinating thank you for these tutorial videos
Just wow. .
. True magician. . .
This is a haunting picture bro. Excellent work and keep it up. Bravo
You have amazing skills, beautiful piece! I have to say though that the Generals white charcoal (which I use exclusively) really is charcoal dear. A lot of people assume that white charcoal is chalk but there is a stage after black when you burn wood, it does actually turn white 😊 if you’ve ever cleaned out a fireplace you would remember that there are many stages of black, grey, and white, when wood is burned. Thank you for posting this video, I am intrigued by the method.
I love your work. My preferred drawing style is to work light on dark. It’s more comfortable for me than the traditional dark on light method.
Beautiful.
Love your technique, really nice and interesting. Extremely inspiring. Thank you.
Absolutely spectacular this is so inspirational thank you sir
Dude your amazing
Really like his unique technique and choice of tools...
Your work is amazing. I love it when I start seeing the definition in your drawings in the early stages. TFS your knowledge and your talent with all of us. I look forward to seeing your content every time I get on CZcams, which is daily. 🩵
My dude, you are as soothing as watching Bob Ross, so glad I discovered your channel
Good stuff!
❤splendide
Watching this has helped me get a little faster coz I tighten up too soon. Thank you
It's an underated art channel.
cool !
Wow thank you so much!!! I am on my way to buy white chalk and some black paper!!!!!
Really quite amazing, working in reverse looks like it would be more difficult. Your valuable step by strp procedure helps so much, and another amazingly beautiful study,
MSG Leum
Very beautiful thx 😊
This is terrific. I would love to see though what you are seeing (the photograph) at the same time, to follow along better. Maybe next time? 😀
wow, I've done some reverse charcoal before but never seen this, it's like the exact opposite.
Very Cool, I must try it sometime.
Amazing
Thank you. ✨
Yes This is best ,merci
i hope to have the talent you have one day!!
You’re a magician
I love no music also and you talking. Wonderful.
well done!
Nice bro!
you are the best
Wonderful and very inspiring. I think it would be very helpful if I could see the image on your iPad while you’re drawing. That way I could understand what you’re working towards.
Woooooooooooo
Σ αγαπώ, επειδή είσαι τρελός. 🥰
watching you is as logical as you set light and shadow, when i stand in front of my easel everything is much more unclear... i'm probably not alone in this lol...
Hi Josh! Which fixative do you use in your charcoal drawings? .... Amazing work man, great video!
Great vid! You do white on black and black on white, but I haven't seen you do anything on toned paper. Is there a reason for that? I'd love to see your work on something toned.
I just saw as short from you 😂 that deserves a follow
I am a messy artist. Seems like the messier the better. When I'm in a zone I don't care how messy it is. But, I clean up after every drawing.
I am curious to know where do you get your reference so e don't copy right others work or photos or anything 🤔 that'll help alot to know ! Thanks 💓
This is amazing. How would you recommend a complete beginner get into charcoal painting?
I would like to see you spray your work ,to set it
wow mad in arttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt line
Where did you get that felt covered knife
The question i have is how do you store it afterwards without it smudging or getting dusty. Is there a process that you do or is it good enough to just stay like that. Because i have just stored my drawings facing upwards out in the open and now they have dust on it. Is there a better way of keeping it for long term without smudging it. If I frame it will it stay non smudged. Hopefully someone has an answer.
Wow very beautiful ❤️🥰😘🪴
Around 3:50 is a really magical moment in this, where a face suddenly comes alive. And there are more of them later
Sir, how do you sharpen that?.... Coz, whenever i sharpen mine it constantly breaks...
I'm doing a whole sketch book of nothing but white charcoal on black card.
in which part do you use the pastel?
How to get the foam tip on the knife
Looks like 70,s Stevie nicks
How am I able to purchase your artwork?
Looks like
Nier automata (2B)

It looks creepy.. like oil with some thinner. And the black makes it dramatic.
That dogs noisy 😂
Please clean the iPad driving me crazy, how can you see the reference picture... ahhhh!!
You have a pug and he gets no screen time? How is this possible? 🤔
