Boxing is a very important but a small part of a wider range of martial arts. If one man knows boxing and one knows a lower level of boxing but also jujitsu and muay Thai, they would excell in everything except the stand up punches and dodges only. But the other guy wouldn't do that and would use his grappling, submission and other striking abilities to finish the boxer.
