I wanted to mention the legami brand is Italian so we have while shops here! their stuff is so cute but not really high quality especially if you are used to Japanese stationery! My daughter loves all the legami things 😊
Yes, we have a lot of those here in Finland, which is the home of Moomins. Sadly I'm not such a big Moomin fan, but I do sometimes enjoy some of the products 🙂 Thanks for commenting 😊
Survival is important! Don’t beat yourself up about it. I think when it strays into not being able to eat or spending money you don’t have, that’s when it gets dicey. Today I bought scratchies (the lottery tickets you scratch to reveal things). I know they’re ridiculously stacked against me, but it reminds me how to feel hopeful and to look to the future in a more positive way. To believe, even for just a moment, good things can happen in the future. That’s what I’m buying when I get one. And somehow, even though on one level it’s stupid to buy them, it also shifts my brain away from negative thinking. And I think that’s valuable. I feel like your stationery treasure finds are similar in that way. But not so stupid. I really hope you can find some support for yourself. I’m not so good at taking this advice, but I hope you do. It’s important to look after yourself so you can keep going and also give of yourself to others in the way you want to. I know this is a bit of a daft analogy, but it’s like maintaining a car, regular servicing can save you from a much more disastrous outcome. On a more practical note, I am very interested in how you make your decisions around your fun spending. I haven’t found balance with that in my life. I look forward to your videos, even if they appear years from now. Sending support and good vibes ❤
Haha, I'm not going to start arguing which one is more stupid - unnecessary stationery or scratchies 😅 In Finland part of the money goes to charity so you can always think of giving to charity when gambling 😂 So in that way I think scratchies are better than bad stationery. But of course that may only be the case here in Finland. Well, I'm very bad at asking for help/support... so no luck there. But I'm taking care of myself. Sleeping, exercising, eating well and so on. The car analogy is bad in our case, because we do it ourselves, and we only fix things when they break 🤣 But I do get the point 😅😘 And of course we do some maintenance, like oil changes and so. But oh boy, the countless hours on the parking lot... with our teenager aged cars... Luckily my spouse enjoys it, so that is his way of relaxing 😉 Thank you for your comment ❤️ It made me laugh and brought a smile to my face 😊 And I will remind my spouse about the oil change 😅
I'm sorry to hear you're having such a hard time. Is there anything you need help with from a stranger? Other than that - I absolutely love the budgeting videos, so that's a yes from me. Also you can laminate one page from the Legami Notepad and use it as a dry-erase to-do list, giveaway the rest. Sending you all my love 💕
Answering these comments from strangers give me a good escape from my everyday life 🥰 Being able to talk about stationery and getting new ideas ❤️ That laminating idea was great 👍 And maybe I just need to get over my pen&paper snobbism 😅 In the end my problems are small - they just seem huge in the context of my little life. But thinking about the world situation doesn't help either, so maybe I just keep focusing on stationery and what's good or bad about that... Also I completely get your paper snobism, after tomoe river I started to hate almost everything else, especially very toothy gritty paper like craft 😆

And yes I voted because I would love to know how you decide on your stationery budget - maybe percentage of income or something. I struggle with spending a lot on my hobbies! And also I was wondering do you check your budget every time before you buy or do you sometimes overspend not realizing…. And do you let yourself overspend if there is a special release? If you make a future video would love to hear about those topics. Thanks so much!!
