Can you recommend a good wooden frame for my king-size adjustable bed?

I don't think it's easy at all to use an existing frame. Most bed frames I use do NOT have an completely open area to "drop" the base into. Most have planks going across - some that can't be removed. Some have drawer cabinets. There would have no "open area" to drop the base into so the base rests on the floor within the confines of the bed frame.

Sounds like you can only have a pretty basic bed frame. I'd rather get one of those cool frames with shelves and power outlets.
